Chapter 8:The second test

Ligerbel managed a punch that stopped Sinr from hurting her that much.As one at least survived with an injury.Ligerbel used much energy so she couldn't keep on fighting.She escaped from that place even though she wasn't in a good condition.

Cripple where he was wasn't settled as he kept thinking about what was happening to Ligerbel.He knew it was dangerous but it was his responsibility to help . "Let me go and help her. I don't care what happens to me ."

He was determined to help her but he had no option from that place.He remembered I'mLigerbel using her finger to do that but it was only possible if he had passed all the tests. So,he had to look for other options besides that.

Another possible option was getting there in a spirit form but that might not help because he could be separated with his powers.He knew he had to look for a possible solution.As he sat on his bed .He decided to meditate such that at least he clears the stress that was developing in .

During the meditation,he saw Ligerbel was filled with blood and was laying on a bed and it seemed she was getting treated. This left him worried about what would happen to her, "This is all happening to her just because of me. Why do I have to be the reason why others have to suffer.No,I have to work hard so that I get that potential to defend myself."

It was getting dark outside but he was now determined to spend the whole night just to pass the third test.He knew he had to do everything on his own because Ligerbel was not around at the moment.

He knew a quiet and perfect place to perform this test so he decided to go there that very night. He always liked his bed but he had to sacrifice it today just to strengthen his ability.

The place was really scary but he knew that soon he would be facing scarier things that are even more scary than this. He had to admit to this and continue with the activity that had brought him here.

"What am I going to start with now?", It seemed to be a challenge to him.He remembered the test was about controlling

his power , improving his frequency while using the power but now he was his own guide so he had to figure out what to start with .

He concentrated and focused the power.He started feeling its weight sinking in his body and his hands were glowing with a blue flame a sign that represented powers of the Ice Kingdom. His long and braid hair was free at the time casting the presence of wind that was softly passing around.

This raised his ability and then looked for what to do next . As the theme of the test was ,he didn't have to get off the theme. Everything he had to do had to match with the theme.

As he was already informed about the test.

He ran and looked for a comfortable position to differentiate his power in a direction.This was all aimed at controlling his powers. "Wait" he became suspicious at that moment. "What am I up to now? As far as I remember, control starts from the mind.First of all I have to be with a target and then I will control these powers."

It seemed to be a wise move from Cripple.The power could only be controlled if he had a target. This would relate his mind and the power and then he will be controlling it .He returned to the ground and refocused to find a target. A tree in front of him was a good target. His mind raced with what to do to the tree.

He knew he had to choose wisely on this.

"No" he was in disagreement with his decision as he seized his power. "The tree has done nothing to me , why should I hurt it?"

Someone clapped exactly after Cripple said the words. "It was a wise move you just made." It was Cripple's surprise that Ligerbel had survived. "How did you do that?" ,he asked her .

Ligerbel instead was happy for him because he had passed part of the third test. "That was total control",she said "Congs" . Cripple wondered ,the lady couldn't even care about his life but the only thing she cared about was his success.

He looked his eyes against her. She was a beautiful lady with white long hair. Her eyes were beautiful and her lips were also hard. He asked, "You mean ,you are okay now.I thought you were done."

Ligerbel looked at him. She said, "I know it was difficult to survive but thank God I survived." After she said , "I have a plan"

"Which plan?"he responded . Ligerbel asked him to go with her .They ended at the shores of the lake. "Whatever I am going to say , you just have to agree with me."Cripple wondered what she was up to

now. She continued, "I know it's crazy but you have to write a letter to your mother because you will leave her for sometime."

"Where am I going going now."Cripple asked . Ligerbel sighed, "It's unfortunate but I can't go back to the Ice grounds when you are still weak. But we still have only one place we can train from till you become better. It is found in the world but no one knows that place.It is filled with power that nobody has ever discovered ."

After hearing all this , Cripple wasn't happy with leaving his mother but he had to do this because the other parents were in trouble. He went home and wrote the letter, leaving it on his mother's bed.

As Cripple's mother approached his bed her eyes were incident to the letter.She opened and it read,

"Dear mom,

Thanks for the care and love you have shown me ,for real you have a good mother.

Now I want to inform you that I have to go somewhere and I will be back soon. Please forgive me but I Will explain everything to you when I come back home .

Your son,

Cripple .

Cripple's mother was shocked with what she saw in the letter. She went to check if he was in his bed or he was just playing with her .

In his room was another letter.She opened it .

"I know Mom you have to check for me in my room but the reality is that I am not home."

Cripple's mom was now worried about what was happening with his son. The previous days,he had started to get more wired. She thought that was just normal. But now the situation was serious.

His phone was also off at that moment. She was becoming more worried this time .

To Cripple's side , everything was coming as a surprise and they couldn't stop coming to him. Today's surprise first was how Ligerbel survived and now he was on another mission of disappearing from the world. It was not easy to make that decision but Cripple had to take it.

"I only do this for someone.",he said.

Ligerbel on the other side was waiting. Cripple stealing glances at him kept on wondering why she had to behave in such a way .From the time she came back,she had started charging her moods .She wasn't as much vibing as she was the past days.

"I am here," he said. Ligerbel looked at him ." Ok ,we have to go now so that you can complete the third test in time." Her voice tinged with mercy.

Cripple didn't want to give him a hard time so he hurried and stood up to leave with her .

He thought just a little magic would work but "No" . Ligerbel responded .

She continued," Just know that magic can't solve everything. Sometimes you will have to use your normal power to solve some problems but that's not the case .For now ,my power levels are low .I can't use it ."

It was another crisis , Cripple nodded but mirroring fear in his eyes . "You don't have to fear," she encouraged him. Cripple all the years he had lived ,he had never moved long distances .This was another POV.

He had a lot of weaknesses because he had lived as a human for many years.

They started the journey but he was not sure he would succeed.He was not sure of their destination but now he had to agree and go with her.

Ligerbel didn't do this because she had no potential to use her powers as a means of transport but she had to do this so that Cripple at least awakens .

In reality, getting to that place was a long journey.I t had to take them at least three days to reach there.
