Reluctant Jada

It was night, and Jada lay in bed, reviewing some company documents. She sighed deeply. "He actually did it!!!" Jada felt both embarrassed and annoyed.

When she set conditions for Ren, she just wanted to challenge him and make him give up his unrealistic idea of "nutrient supplementation."

But she didn't expect Ren not only to create an educational work but also a hugely successful one! Now, all the online comments were praising "Cells at Work."

Honestly, Jada felt proud when she saw those comments—after all, it was her husband. But now, she was unsure what to do.

Even though she told Ren to watch over Yueyue doing her homework, she knew it wouldn't last long. Once Ren was done, he'd probably come to bed wanting his "nutrients!" What to do? Should she really let him have his so-called nutrients?

Jada imagined a horrifying scene in her mind, making her shudder. "No way, I can't possibly let him have that... whatever nutrients!" She leaned against the bed, lightly biting her lip. Just thinking about it made her tremble; if she actually went through with it, she'd die of embarrassment!

Maybe she could set more conditions? But Jada quickly dismissed this idea, knowing Ren wouldn't agree. She needed to divert his attention... but ordinary distractions wouldn't work. For a guy like Ren, it had to be something that fit his interests.

Jada started thinking deeply. Her eyes accidentally landed on her wardrobe, and she paused. After a moment, she quietly went to the closet and rummaged through a locked box inside. This box contained Ren's secret stash. She picked up a piece of clothing and felt a rush of embarrassment. It was just too mortifying! However, dressing up wasn't as bad as letting him touch her.

With that thought, dressing up seemed more acceptable. "Fine, I'll go with this!" she decided, biting her lip. But looking through the clothes, she felt stuck. There were too many options, and... Jada looked at her belly. Most of the outfits that covered her up wouldn't fit.

After much deliberation, Jada found a sailor outfit at the bottom of the box. It covered her top well, with only her belly exposed. The long white socks were fine, but the skirt was a bit short... Still, it was the most acceptable option. Jada decided to wear it.

A moment later, she stood in front of the mirror, striking a few poses. She felt a small sense of pride; she still looked pretty good! It's just... Jada touched her belly. It was too big now. Who knows if she'd get back to her pre-pregnancy figure...

Oh well, she'd deal with that later. For now, she had to get through tonight. Steadying her nerves, Jada lay down on the bed, waiting for the "enemy" to arrive!

Meanwhile, Ren was checking Yueyue's homework. He raised an eyebrow. Holding Yueyue's head still, he glanced at her. "Most of it's correct... but a heartbeat takes three hours for ten beats? You've successfully killed me!" "Huh?" Yueyue looked puzzled. Ren pointed at her homework, and she awkwardly scratched her head. "I accidentally wrote the wrong answer... hehe."

She stuck her tongue out playfully, quickly fixing her mistake. But Ren wasn't letting it go. "You want me to die young? I'm only in my twenties! Is living too much to ask?" "Oh, come on! I said it was a mistake!" Yueyue protested, pushing Ren out of the room. "Get out! I want to sleep!"

With a click, the door shut behind him. "Be more careful next time!" Ren called out, smiling as he hummed a tune, bouncing down the hall toward the bedroom. He could finally get his nutrients! Thinking about what was to come, Ren was practically skipping with excitement.

Reaching the bedroom door, Ren took a deep breath and pushed it open, shouting, "Honey~ are you ready for our deal—" "Tonight?" His voice trailed off as his eyes widened. There was Jada, dressed in a sailor outfit! The white thigh-high socks made her legs look even more alluring, and the short skirt added a mysterious appeal.

But... why was Jada suddenly dressed like this? She had always refused to wear the outfits he bought. "Honey~~~" Jada blinked her eyes at him, just as she was about to speak. She saw Ren approaching, placing his forehead against hers. "You don't have a fever," Ren said, frowning. "Why are you dressed like this?"

"What are you thinking?!?" Jada snapped, smacking Ren's head. Was he sick? Seeing his wife in such a sexy outfit, his first thought was that she had a fever!? Yet, he had been thinking about these outfits daily! Jada looked at her belly. Maybe the pregnancy had lessened her allure?
