"Give me a moment," Clifford said, before sitting in a meditative position. He refilled his Qi supply and compressed it twice and an hour later, he stood up and asked, "Can we find a decent target to test my strength? I also want to understand what's possible and what's not."

"Why not?" Reymond responded. "Let's find a proper opponent for you." Knowing the wasteland had a range that could even threaten higher-order cultivators, Reymond agreed since he had plenty of time.

"Get on my shoulder," Reymond said, guessing that nothing would be nearby due to the instability of the place. He decided to cut the distance by going at full speed. "Hold on tight; this might be a little intense for your first time." Clifford transformed into an eagle and landed on Reymond's shoulder.
