chapter 19 ( I am truly different now)

When Tobi and Haochen left ,Caxiv stopped Xiya and asked her for a little conversation.

'I know you hate me so much not just because you are envious of my relationship with him but because you are afraid that I would hurt him and use him for my own motives , disguise my feelings with pure intentions,lure him into my company and make him do things for me disregarding the threat of losing his life.I acknowledge your bond with him, I know you deserved him more than I do and I respect that. But I promise you I would never hurt him ,I would never let him suffer and I would always love him ,treasure him ,bear with him. You don't have to worry Xiya! I will never let pain be recognised in his entire life.

Tears welled up in Xiya's eyes, hands are shaking and great hollowness swallowed her whole.

'You promised me Caxiv ! Don't you ever break your promise or else I will curse you until you cross the end of your life.(Xiya)

Caxiv hugged Xiya and calmed her down , they've been in good terms since then.

When Killian was done recuperating the group travels from Gila town to the mountain of sorrow to find the grieving mythical beast and to increase their cultivation. The grieving beast is known to it's manipulative spirit ,it can unlock your greatest trauma and pierce your heart with your greatest pain and fear.

' we have to defeat superior beasts in order to increase our cultivation ,only then we can be able to achieve our real purpose and goals.(Killian)

The entrance of the mountain is filled with below level of miasma ,the darkness eloped with the surrounding and the death of every cultivator who tries to haunt the beast marked every single branches of the tree in the feet of the mountain.

'too many of them died just to confront this beast ?(Xiya)

: it's a one on one situation.(Haochen)

'what do you mean? (Xiya)

: one must sacrifice so the other one can achieve his goals .(Killian)

'so one would sacrifice now ? Someone would have to die for us to achieve our goal ? there is no way we are doing that .(Caxiv)

'but we have to ! being a hero is not an easy job ! 10,000 years ago Princess Gaya sacrificed her whole life for the entire humanity, if we can't do the same then we are not worthy to become one like her.(Killian)

Caxiv's heart suddenly was in great pain,Xiya rushed into her and helped her .

'are you alright ?are you feeling pain?(Xiya)

:no ,nothing! I just don't want to talk about the past, it somehow haunts me and hurts my heart like a piercing pain.I guess being a hero is a big deal! from sacrificing your loved ones to sacrificing yourself.(Caxiv)
