Chapter 51 Lonely Man and Woman (Part 2)

Xu Xunsheng climbed to the upper bunk, simply lying down with his clothes on and covering himself with the blanket. After a while, he heard the soft creak of the door, a shaft of light piercing through as the tall figure of Cen Ye entered, then closed it again. Next came the rustling from the lower bunk; Cen Ye also lay down. However, Xu Xunsheng could still see the bright light from his phone screen.

Xu Xunsheng closed his eyes, attempting to fall asleep. But the train was too noisy, and the loud snoring of the person in the opposite berth was incessant. After a very long time, he still felt wide awake.

He reopened his eyes and instinctively peered down to see that the light from below had disappeared—apparently, Cen Ye had fallen asleep. Xu Xunsheng felt utterly bored, so he flipped over and lay on his stomach, parting the curtains to peer out into the dark night outside.
