Huizi came up with a shooting scene by himself, and surprisingly, the editors all thought it was good. It was actually quite simple and authentic.
Sitting behind the drum set, Huizi played a vigorous melody, then lifted his head and accompanied it with a voice-over. In the end, he made a flying gesture with the drumsticks.
"Drummer, Huizi.
The rhythm and pulse of the band are in my hands.
I am the silent guardian,
The heavy tank in battle.
Music is my everything."
He and the editors had come up with these lines together. Watching the thin and unremarkable-looking boy behind the drums, he appeared clearly a bit nervous, yet his eyes conveyed the utmost devotion. Everyone listened quietly, and after he finished recording, Zhao Tan gave him a high five and said, "Well done."
The scene Zhao Tan chose was the simplest, just standing on the room's balcony, gazing outside.
