Chapter 131 Not Wronged

"Mom, I'm back,"

After school in the afternoon, Lu Yun took out the key to open the small single door on the main gate and shouted as soon as she entered the house.

The house was separated by a courtyard, and yelling at the entrance often went unheard. There was a doorbell on the small door, but it was still inconvenient. Eventually, her parents just gave her a key so she could open the door and let herself in after school, to avoid yelling at the door every day.

Yet, upon returning, she still made a habit of calling out for her mom first.

"You're back, hurry in and wash your hands to eat the meat sandwiches," Xia Yuan poked her head out from the kitchen door, smiling and urging her.

"You made meat sandwiches today?" Lu Yun cheered and bolted directly toward the kitchen door. Her mother's meat sandwiches were one of her favorite foods, though she actually couldn't eat much at a time—two were her limit.
