Chapter 28 My Perfume Doesn't Suit You

Wen Meimei stuck out her round head and cracked a smile, "Qiao, Chengxun, is there something you need?"

Damn it, for some reason, she could never quite manage to say those two words smoothly.

"Are these clothes for Grandpa?" Qiao Chengxun handed the paper bag to her. He had looked at them a few times at the office, and they were entirely not Grandpa's style.

Wen Meimei knew what he was questioning and confidently said, "Don't worry, I have a way to make Grandpa like them."

Qiao Chengxun furrowed his brow slightly, meaning he was not reassured at all.

Seeing he wasn't speaking, Wen Meimei raised an eyebrow, "Is there anything else?"

"Change clothes, we'll eat back at the old house in ten minutes," Qiao Chengxun said in a deep voice.

"Oh." Wen Meimei obediently acknowledged, carrying her clothes back to her room, and shut the door.

Qiao Chengxun stood outside the door for a few seconds, then turned to walk back to his own room; he needed to change his clothes as well.
