Ji Luo clenched her fists, ready to hit him again, when Xiaoyao hastily held her back. "Ji Luo, don't be rash," she said.

Just as Ji Luo was about to speak, she suddenly smelled a dangerous scent. She wanted to dodge, but both of her hands were caught. She was a step too slow to evade.

A sharp pain spread from her neck—

"You guys..."

Ji Luo's body swayed and then, abruptly, she collapsed to the ground.

Sticking out of her neck was a silver needle.

Lan Bai stated flatly, "It's done, she'll be unconscious for a few hours."

Liuxing and Xiaoyao looked at the unconscious Ji Luo with cold expressions, devoid of emotion.

The Young Master put down the telescope and didn't glance at Ji Luo lying on the ground.

"Let's go." He took the lead and strode off; Liuxing and the others quickly followed, leaving Ji Luo alone, lying unconscious.

Ya Shitian and Ye Anqi tirelessly rode for an hour.

They arrived at a stream.

Ya Shitian stopped the bike. "Let's take a break," he said.
