Portal

Ninety-One:

Aylin Realm

After coming I quickly search for Dione.

"God Rakesh." God Epiales quickly approached the God that guards the room where Dione staying. "How is she?" he seriously asked.

"She's not in good shape."

"What caused it to her?" I finally asked what I am curious.

"A powerful force came towards her before she could reach Ms. Jeanne. And it seems it came from a very powerful Immortal that we couldn't figure who it is."

"An Immortal you said?" We answered it all together and not even Epiales, a God, could figure it out.

"I'll go check on her." Epiales decided and we all went to check.

"Are you sure it was an Immortal?" Asim curiously asked.

"We already run a test and the test result is clearly unrecognizable not even the God Healer could find out who made it or release such powerful force."

"That is clearly something dangerous." Epiales commented and every one of us agrees in silence.

I was just staring for an hour or so while Dione still unconscious. I am trying to figure out what really happened to her and right now, I'm so curious to know what she had witness before Jeanne gone to oblivion.

"Are you worried about Jeanne?" suddenly Asim speak up at my side that breaks my silence.

"Yes. And I badly wanted to know what happened to her before going in to oblivion."

"Yet, Dione is still unconscious."

"That add up my worry." I honestly stated. "And if we don't do anything she might not be found if she goes further deep."

"That is why I already talk to the highest God." It was Epiales and to our surprised he just came unannounced after leaving us without our knowledge.

"Where did you go?" I curiously asked. "And what are you saying about the highest God?"

"I directly asked our Father." He answered surprises us because knowing our father, he will not tell us what he already knows. "I know what you both thinking and yes, it was quite hard to convince him to talk with him but with all my sincerity and pleading he finally face me."

"So, what did you learned?"

"He allows us to use the only portal going to oblivion."

My heart beats fast after hearing the good news yet there's something else and I can sense it.

"Tell me, what is it?" I frankly asked.

"You really know him. Anyway, he said only one person can enter there and once one of us enters, the tunnel will close in an hour so you should find Jeanne only at the appointed time because if you exceed the appointed time you will be the one to find the tunnel out of that place or you'll be forever trap to that place."

"As what I already expected." I answered. "Then, I'll go."

"Are you sure you can find her in the allotted time?" Epiales worriedly asked.

"I'm not sure if I can find her in hour however, I am confident I can find her no matter what."

After an hour…

"It's been past an hour and they aren't coming back." Asim worriedly commented as the portal where Almos entered begins to close. "What are we going to do now?"

"There is nothing we can do but to trust Almos that he can find another way to get out of that place." He seriously answered.

Oblivion

It's been an hour since I entered the portal and right now I knew it's beginning to close although I don't care of it. Because right now I'm focus to find Jeanne no matter what even the portal behind me will close. Then from a far distance, I saw the darkness begins to shade in red.

'No! She's bleeding!' I concluded and quickly went to the center of it. From there I finally found her and she's already sinking into the abyss and I don't have a time to think I need to pull her up and save her from drowning deeper.

'Hold on!' I said after grabbing her hand and for a while she looks at me with curiosity and I couldn't blame her because I let her forget me.

'You? Who are you?' I was surprised from her question but it isn't the right time to talk about it, we just need to escape this place as soon as possible.

'It doesn't matter who I am right now, what matters is that I can save you and get you out of this place as soon as possible.'

'But my blood…'

I stare at her and for a second I can sense she was lost from her own thoughts. That worries me because it will take us a lot of time if I let her lost from her own thoughts.

'Jeanne!' I shouted her name to wake her up. 'Trust me! And focus your mind to me, okay?' Only to me, please. I silently pleaded and I really hope she didn't forget me however it will be more complicated if her memories of me will return.

Aylin Realm

"Darn it!" Asim couldn't help it and run towards the portal.

"No!" Epiales tried to stop him but he can't.

Asim try to stop the portal to fully close and screamed inside calling out Almos name repeatedly.

"F@ck up, Almos! Get out of there now!" He screamed as the pain consumed him.

"Let go, Asim! It will only burn your hands if you continue to hold it open!" Epiales said but he didn't listen instead he keeps holding on and keeps calling Almos until…

"Get out of there now!" suddenly someone answered and before Asim and Epiales can react, a flashing light comes forward.

It was too fast Asim quickly dodge in a painful manner and for a second an explosion happened while the portal closes behind them as soon as the flashing light finally came out.

"What explosion was that?!"

Rakesh quickly came out from Dione's room. "I'll check on it, you take care of Dione first."
