She's a Nymph

Chapter Forty-One:

"If that is, you can really kill me."

The last words that she said took me by surprised.

"Wh-what do you mean?" I curiously asked her.

"Just…" she replied as she shrugs off. "So, what now?"

"What, what?"

"Are you going to kill me or not?"

She's really a different person. Making me speechless, surprised and at the same time makes my heart beats so fast, she is the only one and the first one who can make it.

"No, I won't kill you."

"Alright." She just simply answered.

"Is that it?"

"What do you want me to say?"

"I… I don't know." I honestly answered and then I take a deep breath. "I'll admit, you're the only woman who…" I don't know if I should tell her the truth or not but as I look into her eyes, I couldn't tell a lie. "You are the only one who can make me speechless and nervous at the same time." I honestly said.

"Well, I'm happy to know I can make you feel like that." She sincerely answered.

I smiled. "You're different."

"I know."

"Then, may I know who you are?"

"That… it is better that we no longer know each other. Besides, we don't know if we will meet again or not. So, this is much better."

I look at her before I sigh, well she was right we might not meet again but who knows we might. "Well--"

"Bye!" she suddenly said that cuts me off.

"Wait!" I was about to stop her but she was the one who stops me from talking by putting her two fingers through my lips.

"Bye is bye, alright." She said before she's gone at my sight.

I don't know if I really saw a real person or maybe I'm just hallucinating. "Is she a nymph or a goddess?" I suddenly asked out of the blue.

Del Gazini's Residence

"Haimon!"

I quickly heard my Uncle's voice as soon as he came in to my house and I already knew what he was going to say.

"Uncle." I greeted him.

"Where have you been?!" he madly asked.

"Just in the mountains." I simply answered.

"What! For almost three days!" he said that surprised me.

"What? Th-three days?"

"Yes! You were gone for three days! And even Redmond couldn't find you anywhere!" he replied but I still couldn't believe what I heard from him. "Do you even know how much you make me worry and do you even know what chaos you've made to your soon to be wife?! I even--"

"Wait!" I stop him. "How come I was gone for three days when I was just gone all day? And I know I went home late but that doesn't mean I've been gone for three days?" I'm in shocked right at this moment and I couldn't believe what my Uncle said.

Norward looks at me seriously. "Did someone put a spell on you?"

"What?" I asked as my eyes shrink.

"I'll just show you prove that you've been gone for three days." He seriously said.

Afterwards…

I still couldn't believe it, even though Uncle already showed me proves and even Redmond was there to prove that I was gone for three days, so in the end, I still couldn't believe it. I just repeatedly told myself.

Do I really meet a Nymph deep into the mountains? And she put me into a spell but how did it happen? I really don't know what happened to me back there.

"So, who was the lady you've met at the mountain?" Norward asked me even though I'm in dazed because of what I have learned.

I shake my head. "No. I didn't." I replied and now I already knew why she said those words to me.

'That… it is better that we no longer know each other. Besides, we don't know if we will meet again or not. So, this is much better.'

So, we will never ever going to meet again. I silently said to myself as I blankly look at nowhere.

"Then, maybe you really met a Nymph." Redmond said.

Nymph a mythological spirit of natures, mostly there are beautiful maiden that lives around the rivers, woods and even into the deep forest and mountains. Because of their immortal beauties, they can easily capture any one's attention, some if they got interested on it, they won't let you go no matter what you do because you'll be imprison to their world. And if a human will be trap by them, once they left the mountains or the forests, all the time you do not use will be charged at the time you escape their confinement. Age will soon capture you because to their world, you won't age at all.

But not in my case because I'm already a Vampire, age won't be bother even if I came out of their world. And that explain it, why did she know I'm a Vampire and why she suddenly gone out of my sight so quickly. She's a Nymph after all and I wanted to see her once again.

"Where are you going?!" Norward suddenly asked me when I stand up and was about to leave.

"I will find her." I decided.

"No, you can't!"

"Why is that?"

"Because you need to meet your soon to be wife."

"No, I won't meet her."

"What! Haimon!"

I sigh. "I know. My late father wishes me to find someone that I will cherish forever but I think I already found the right one." I replied with a smile.

"Don't tell us, it was the Nymph you just met?" Redmond said.

"Indeed. She is!" I happily answered.

"Haimon!" Norward madly replied.

"Oh, come on Uncle! There is nothing wrong with choosing a Nymph. Besides she knew that I'm a Vampire, so there's nothing to worry about."

"Nymphs are also Demi-Goddesses and do you even know what it means to get involved with them?"

"God cursed us but we are free to choose as we had souls." I replied.
