Chapter Forty-Nine:

"But kidding aside, all he knew is that you're the man that I love."

I'm speechless. Why in the world I met a woman that will make me speechless every time she will get serious? She even makes my heart flatter more rather than me doing it for her? Not that I'm complaining but she really is so unique that makes me fall in love with her over and over. Without a word I cross the distance we had and give her a tight embrace. I just let myself embrace the woman that I love the most.

"I love you." I said and I could feel she embraces me too.

"I love you too."

Del Gazini's Residence

"Mond!" I was surprised when suddenly Norward Sage, Uncle of Haimon, came without any notice and I think I knew why he was here.

"Sir Norward." I quickly approached him as I bow my head as a respect.

"Where is Haimon?"

"He's resting right now." I lied because the truth he wasn't here that is because he was with Lady Siara.

"You are lying." He firmly replied.

"What! No! I-I am not." I tried not to stammer but I can't stop it and I know he notice it because the way he looks at me, I knew to myself I couldn't hide it anymore. "I'm sorry." All I could say.

"Alright, then, by the time Haimon arrives tell him to come to my house right away." He ordered.

"Ye-yes, I will." I replied before he left that I just quietly followed until he disappeared from my sight. After Norward left, I was able to breathe properly and from the way he looked, I was sure that he already knew something about the woman that Haimon met almost every day.

Manu Palace

Night…

'I love you.'

Those three words that Haimon told me repeatedly echoed through my ears and I love hearing it over and over again. I will never get tired of hearing that from him. I can hardly wait for tomorrow to see him again but because of the state we have, we still have to go home to our own places. And I can't do anything about it unless…

"I marry him." I suddenly speak out loud what is on my mind.

"What are you talking about my Lady?" Wei surprisingly asked me and that's the only time I remember that she was with me.

"Sorry, I'm just talking to myself."

"Don't tell him you want to marry that 'man'?"

I look at her and smiled. "Yes, indeed. I want to marry him so badly I wanted it so soon." I honestly answered.

"There you will have a problem." She spoke. "You know your clans are in conflict so it is very impossible for what you want to happen. Besides, you don't know what that guy wants to happen or what was he was thinking about your secret relationship. He may just be taking advantage of you because you have not been introduced to the public. What if--"

"Stop!" I said cutting her off. "It's like you're making Haimon look like a bad person with what you're saying." With mixed sullenness I answer her.

"I have no intention of thinking he is a bad person I just can't help but worry about what might happen once they find out about the two of you."

I sighed. "I understand what you mean but you don't need to think of him as a bad guy. Because he was the kindest guy that I ever met, that's why I immediately fell in love with him because he is very different from everyone and I can be sure he is a kind and honest person."

Wei looks at me seriously before giving up a big sigh and she said. "I'm so sorry, my Lady. I really didn't mean it."

"I know." I said and pat her through her shoulder. "And don't worry too much, if things will find out. I will deal with all the possible consequences we may face."

"But my Lady--"

"No more buts, alright?" I spoke.

She takes a deep breath before she nodded. "But promise me one thing."

"What?"

"When you are in danger, you have to forget him in order to save yourself."

"That, I cannot promise." I honestly answered.

"My Lady…"

"I don't care if I'm in danger, it's more important that Haimon isn't in danger and I'll do everything just to protect him."

"My Lady!"

"No more words! That's my final decision!"

Deep into the Mountains

Next day…

"What are you smiling at?" I asked Siara when I notice her smiles.

She looks at me with those bright smiles. "I am simply happy." She simply answered.

"Why?"

"Because I'm with you."

My heart suddenly races fast, with that simply replied I couldn't imagine how I manage to control myself not to hug and kiss her.

"Uhm, we-well." I said and swallow to clear my throat. "I--"

"Can I kiss you?" she suddenly asked as she cuts me off and it really surprised me, I could hardly answer her question. "Oh, sorry. Did I surprise you? I didn't mean it but--"

Without taking it longer, I just pull her and silent her by giving her a kiss. This time, I made the first move and kiss her surprisingly, with her soft cherry lips I kiss her with full of love.

Downtown

"Sir Kanik." Maury called my attention.

"What is it?"

"Who are you looking for?"

"A friend."

"Who's friend?"

"A woman working here in the flower shop but it seems she isn't here." I said as I keep looking around the shop.

"Excuse me?" a woman suddenly approaches us and she seems working at the shop too. "What can I do for you?"

I look at her. "May I know if Ms. Liraz is there?"

"Oh, I'm sorry Sir but she's not here. It is her day-off today."

"Oh, okay. Thank you." I said before leaving that place.

"Who's Liraz?" Maury asked.

"You'll know soon."
