Unaware of the massacre that happened in the village of Ironlight, Ragnar was at the academy, focusing on getting stronger.

It was his second day at the academy, and today's class was dedicated to learning more about magic and the mana circle. To become a full-fledged mage, a person needs to master the basics of magic theory and fundamentals first.

Despite being colorless, Ragnar still attended the class. The students were free to choose their subjects and gain knowledge in them. After all, magic is not just about application; it has a theoretical and experimental side as well.

Research and work in a particular field can help mages in their advancements. The library is an example of this. Many people publish their theories and experiments on various topics. If someone encounters difficulty, browsing through the library might provide a hint on how to proceed.
