Chapter 31- Sports Festival Preparations!
Right we're in gym wearing our track suits, we're doing the aptitude tests. I did my best and got 100, well I shocked the entire class for sure.
Right now the other guys are doing it as I sat around the corner.
To get first place we need to get top 3 or top 2 in every events.
Of course there are individual competition rewards;
For students placing 1st in the individual competitions: 3.000 private points or "3 marks" in a written exam will be awarded.
For students placing 2nd in the individual competitions: 2.000 private points or "2 marks" in a written exam will be awarded.
For students placing 3rd in the individual competitions: 1.000 private points or "1 mark" in a written exam will be awarde.
(Marks can't be used on other people)
For the students with the lowest ranking: 500 private points subtracted or loss of 1 mark in the written exam.
Not only that also;
For Best performing student reward
The student who will acquire the highest amount of points across all competitions will receive 100.000 private points.
Best performing student reward for individual competitions
3 students from each school year who have highest score across all competitions will receive 10.000 private points individually.
Allocation of points for all participants in the competitions (Individual Contests)
1st placer gets 15 points
2nd placer gets 12 points
3rd placer gets 10 points
4th placer gets 8 points
1 point each will be deducted for placing lower than 5th place
It's like I said we have to get either 1st or 2nd but I don't mind if we get 3rd too, but it's mostly gotta be 1st or 2nd.
So in the end whoever has wins the most competitions from each class will be calculated in total and the winner each year will get 50+ class points.
The impact of separate ordering of school years:
The class that takes 1st place will be awarded 50 class points.
The class that takes 2nd place will not have any change to their class points.
The class that takes 3rd place will have 50 class points deducted.
The class that takes 4th place will have 100 class points deducted.
But not only that the impact of the outcome of Red Team vs. White Team:
- From the totality of all the school years the losing team will have 100 points equally subtracted from their class points across all school years.
So let's say if class C came last in our year they'll lose 100 class points and if white team loses the sports festival then they'll another 100 class points same with us.
Hahahahaha, I think this will work on my favour.
Soon enough class C joined us as our class and ichinose's class started working together more like practicing together.
Anyway, the competitions for this sports festivals are:
1) 100-m sprint
For the boys I plan to sent sudo and me.
For the girls onodera and horikita.
(Since two participants from each class are allowed.)
2) 200-m sprint
For the boys I plan to go along with ayanokoji.
For the girls, I plan to sent horikita and onodera again.
3) Hurdle Race
For the boys I plan to go along with ayanokoji again.
For the girls, I plan to sent horikita and matsushita.
4) Obstacle course race
For the boys I plan to sent hirata and sudo he should be quick enough.
For the girls, kushida and onodera.
5) Three legged race
The first mixed gender race, for this one me and horikita will be going up along with ayanokoji and kushida.
6) Pole toppling
Only a male event, is a mix of class B and C boys.
7) Piggback Joust
For boys the one on top will be me, with sudo, hirata and ayanokoji supporting me.
For girls the one on top will be horikita, with onodera, kushida and Karuizawa supporting her.
8) Tamaire
Only a female event, is a mix of class B and C girls.
9) Tug of War
With both girls and boys of first years participating so basically a mix of class B and C.
10) Cavalry fight
For the boys I have chosen me on the top again, koenji, sudo and ayanokoji supporting me.
For the girls Karuizawa on top, with kushida, onodera and matsushita supporting her.
11) Scavenger hunt race
For the boys me and miyake akito plan to go.
For the girls kushida and matsushita will do.
12) Joint 1200-m relay
For this event it's the second and last mixed race for the sports festival with all years competing, we have to put six participants in each 200 meter.
For the 1st leg: Onodera
2nd leg: Sudo
3rd Leg: Matsushita
4th Leg: Kushida
5th Leg: Ayanokoji (don't trust that mf to win the race)
6th Leg: Me!
Well the line up doesn't matter, so letting onodera go first will be good against other girls after that sudo against other guys following up with matsushita and kushida competing against other girls. I'll let ayanokoji go fifth have his moment with the president because,
1) I don't trust that guy to win this entire race, mf will trip over someone.
2) if he goes fifth, the president will go fifth too as he will accept ayanokojis challenge.
3) it will make job easier.
And for the reason why there are two participants for some individual competitions is because it's required to have the least two students from each class.
Well with this, that will be our official line up for the sports festival and the fake kushida is going to give to ryuen is going to be the one they all are deciding with.
I looked around the field as I saw class A practicing too. I saw sakayanagi sitting on a bench as I started walking towards her.
"Yo princess~" I said with a smirk as she looked at me with a straight face.
"You're quite a sly one aren't you Kageyama-kun?" She said with a glare.
"Hehehe~ am I? Well you should have thought before accepting the bet." I said to her as she sighed.
"I guess you're right, now I have to rely on katsuragi-kun to win." She said as she gritted her teeth.
"Hm, well how's the cooperation between the lizard and your class?" I asked as she chuckled hearing the nickname.
"Well he's not going to be helping us at all, so it seems katsuragi has no intentions of allying with him for this special exam." She said as I nodded, seeing me and sakayanagi talk the other classes looked at us in surprise, especially my class.
"Well I'll see you at the sports festival." I said to her and walked away.
Now everything is set!
