In the opposite cell, Encender's eyes narrowed as she listened to the interaction between the two.
As the leader of the group, she felt amused by Layla's frustration.
It reminded her of the bond between her and Max, her deceased brother.
'Does Tito find something that he relates to her more than any of us?'
Her thought was right on the money, as the man of fire used to be a thief before he was sent to prison.
Thanks to this, Tito enjoyed pushing her buttons even though he is not the type to start a conversation with someone he doesn't know.
Rajah, who had been faking his sleep to avoid Encender, finally raised his head to look at the next cell in the corner of his bed.
His actions made Meron's face cringe a bit, as she wasn't a fan of his floral cologne.
Even so, the young prince was determined to bring another girl to join the team. He avoided them when he was young, and he ended up realizing his mistakes as he grew into a man.
"Smiling, he calmly says, "Layla, I understand your hesitation. But please, hear us out. We may not be the perfect group, but we are united by a common goal."
Tito turned back to give Rajah a side glance that mocked the fallen Prince, 'What common goal... Silver Widow never once suggested wanting to get out of this prison.'
To Layla, Galactic Prison is a place where she wouldn't hide her inner demons within her very core. Here, she can kill all she wants, not be forced to steal for a living, like how she did in her early teenage years.
Layla's gaze quickly shifted from Tito to the loudmouth of the group; her expression became even more sour.
Rajah was an obstacle in her path to kill everyone in cell room 27F. She hadn't explained his immortality to the great Aslan.
'Bringing it up will only make him think that I am making up excuses... well, I will just show him now.'
"Everyone, look at cell room 27F!!"
Layla's shout echoed throughout the whole block, and once she was certain that enough eyes from the neighboring cells were looking at 27F, she hurled an Egyptian meteorite dagger at Rajah's forehead.
Swish—!
Thack—!
As if he were a watermelon, the dagger pierced through Rajah's head and flew over to collide with the walls.
Every person in the cell, including Rajah, who was streaming blood from his forehead, stared in awe at the girl in the adjacent cell.
They all knew she wasn't an ability user, yet she had managed to make her dagger make a ninety-degree turn and hit the fallen prince.
Tito's mind raced as the talent showcase came to an end. "Just like how she promised that stalker Aslan, she might have actually killed us in our sleep tonight."
However, the man of fire wasn't one bit afraid of her, as he seemed to find new words to tease the silver-haired girl.
"Haaa...if only your looks were as ravishing as your aim, then you would have abandoned the name Silver Widow a long time ago, my dear."
'Should I have aimed for him instead?!!' Layla ground her teeth in thought.
Seeing that he was being too hard on her, Tito pulled the brakes and decided to finally confront the girl he thinks has a crush on him.
"Okay, Silver Widow, let's settle this. I will stop bothering you, leaving your sorry ass to find a way to assassinate us. However, that will be difficult to achieve."
He faked a cough before continuing, "Silver Widow, what is the thing you yearn for the most? The thing that keeps you up at night, as you just glare at your broken television."
'Was he stalking me?'
Such a thought arose in the pink-skinned alien's mind. She was positive that no one noticed such an embarrassing thing.
In the end, Layla sighed. She knew that Black and White weren't the type to lie, so it was best for them to cut all the ties they had now rather than later.
"I want to have the freedom to do anything I like. I wish to kill whenever I want to and curse when I want."
"Keep such thoughts in your mind and be one hundred percent positive that you will live your life without even having a romantic relationship with anyone."
At Tito's sarcastic comment, the silver-haired girl quickly replied, "I don't care! I don't want to be oppressed by anyone."
Suddenly, Encender started giggling. Now she was starting to see why Tito was attached to this silver-eyed girl.
'She really has to join my team!'
With a mind made up, Encender jumped off her bed and walked over to the cell bars with clenched fists.
Bam—!
One punch was all the young girl needed to blast the bars off her cell.
The inmates from the other cells who saw this almost unreal sight had their eyes shaking, but the inmates from 27F all had smiles.
Encender stated, "If you want freedom, I can give you one. I will show you that the freedom I desire is true freedom compared to the one your fellow wishes for."
The F Block has always been under Aslan's watch for twenty-five years.
To the inmates of the F Block, Aslan is like a king who has the right to take care of everyone he doesn't want in his block.
When it comes to ranking the strongest individuals, Aslan is among the elites of the Galactic Prison who are rumored to have the same strength as the correction Deputy Chiefs.
However, Encender didn't know any of that. As a matter of fact, she didn't care about how the people from the F Block think of her.
Unlike the block leaders, Encender's current goal is to get out of this dark place.
Following behind their leader's footsteps, the other inmates in 27F all got out of the cell with roaring eyes ready for a fight.
