Unveiling Deception

There is an old African, well Zimbabwean saying that goes,"When a drum reaches excessive volume, it is on the verge of experiencing structural failure."

It just translates to, "When an excessive proliferation of growth occurs, negative consequences are inevitable."

Call it superstitious, but sometimes it is true.

On that particular day, I acquired ten million dollars in United States currency, a property in Beverly Hills, and a selection of high-end luxury vehicles that are too numerous to list.

Of course, I didn't return those items, especially the ones that belonged to Changeez Fernsby. The other goods might have ended up in charity, but not his.

Anyway, back to the story. When there were a few minutes into the next day, I began searching for the one who would spend the night with me.

I could have done it with my sexy assistants, but I couldn't. Something like that creates an uncomfortable working environment.

Just like the days before, the last person to witness my psychic reading would be the one to enjoy the night with me, unless it is a man.

However, the moment the last person walked over to my table, I couldn't help but twist my eyes around in disbelief.

The pretty blondie smiled as she took hold of my hand to stop me from running away. "I heard that someone who looks like Tito Roux Z is running a business in the club I'm interested in buying. I thought it could be cool to go check that out."

My mouth opened up and down as I stared at those ocean blue eyes of hers and that charming smile. I felt short of breath, not because I found her ravishing to the eyes.

"I met the hero before, and I immediately knew he wasn't you from the way he tried to convince me he was you."

Lexi answered the thing that was in my mind, and I found my mouth closing up. No one had figured out that there were two of us besides my sister who had died a month before.

I smiled at the now unfamiliar beauty before me as I faked a cough. "So you were the unknown buyer who is trying to bring down my business."

Lexi immediately frowned, and her earlier smile now looked like an act. "Don't you even learn! Why do you keep on lying and stealing from people!"

"Because I am good at it," I replied nonchalantly, but I regretted it in the next second.

Slap—!

I immediately touched my sore left cheek as I tried my best to ignore the insults coming at me. "You crazy bastard! You are just feeding people lies with your bullshit!"

Before I could say anything, she took the rubber in the breast pocket of my sock. "What the fuck is this?!"

"It is protection, my darling." Soon after, my face frowned away as I took my special rubber by force. "Wait a second! You were stalking me, weren't you?!"

Lexi cringed her face with crossed arms. "Well, dah~ I had tabs on when you left Juvi, but two months later, you started showing up as the public hero on television. I let it go since you were doing okay."

She took a sip of the vodka on the table before she added, "However, when I met you in person a year ago, I figured that it wasn't you. We weren't close, but I could just feel it, so I assumed you might have used your brains to make a copy of yourself as you live a carefree life."

"Thank you for thinking so highly of me."

"Shut up! This is not funny!"

She finished the whole cup of vodka before stating, "I looked over all the resorts in the world and couldn't find you, so I gave up. Yes, I gave up! When I was looking for clubs that would give me a good profit, Axol's popped up, and that's when I saw your image on the advertisement. That's when I knew I should buy this fucking place! Hahahaha!"

'She is drunk from only one cup of vodka. How weak and stupid.'

At times like this, I would say, "The tomato spontaneously landed on the cutting board. It is now easy to chop. "

However, on that day, I just let the girl be. Maybe it is because she was the one destined to be my future wife.

Taking up my overcoat, I walked towards the front door only to be greeted by the man whom I hate even now.

"The thief who pretends to be the Hero is now. Just why do you have the same name as Tito Roux Z?"

I ignored that silver voice. I found myself frowning as I stepped to the side, wanting to get out. However, two buff men stood in my way as they flexed their muscles

"Tsk." I clicked my tongue in frustration and used my knees to hit both the men, who carried scowls on their faces like wild cats.

Wham—!

The two men were pushed back from the impact of the kicks and suffered severe nosebleeds. Ignoring all that pain, they charged at me with the intent to kill.

However, I was fast to act. I touched the ground to tackle both of them, sending the back of their hands to the ground.

Thud–!

Before they could stand up, I made sure to crush their nuts. When I stood up, the frown on my face deepened, as the black-haired old man didn't do anything to support his men.

"You might be a better fighter than all my men, but I don't want to see you anywhere near my little princess, or else."

I scoffed at his ugly yet handsome face. "Little princess is a weak drinker. Surely she is not my type."

The old man with blue eyes ground his teeth before addressing, "Do you hear me?!"

"Yeah, whatever. Your daughter is yours for the keeping."

However, the next morning, Little Princess was on top of my blankets.
