CHAPTER TWENTY FOUR- R18 : DON'T RUN

Sophie felt paralyzed as Shane's command echoed in her mind.

"What?" she managed to whisper, hesitating slightly in her movement her voice trembling with uncertainty , as if she just came back to her senses.

"Don't make me repeat myself. Take off your clothes," Shane demanded.

His voice, strained and intense, was focused intently on the smooth skin of her neck, his mismatched eyes had now turned dark with his hazel eyes burning brightly in the darkness with a need that need to be sedated .

Sophie stared at Shane, her wide eyes reflecting both trepidation and a curious thrill for what was about to transpire.

Her mind screamed the word "RUN," as if it were trying to warn her of the danger in Shane's aura. Yet, her body felt rooted to the spot, overwhelmed by a mix of fear and anticipation.

Shane tilted his head sideways, observing her neck with an almost predatory focus.
