Alex watched her with a mix of amusement and concern. He wasn't used to seeing the gruff, the powerful witch they said are now so… vulnerable. 

He cleared his throat, unsure of how to approach the situation. "Hey, Xiomara, a woman's worth isn't defined by her cooking skills, you know? There's so much more to you than that-"

Xiomara peeked up from the couch, her expression a mix of defiance and confusion. She yelled, "No way! If I can't cook, how will I teach my children how to survive? Don't you underestimate the power of a woman who can feed her family!"

Woah... back in my world, most women in my generation didnt want cook, why diffrent here...

Alex blinked, momentarily taken aback. The concept of a woman needing to cook for a husband was entirely foreign to him. In his world, men and women shared the domestic duties, and cooking wasn't seen as a mark of femininity.

"Oh, uh, right. Sorry about that, Xiomara. I, uh, didn't realize…"
