The Main End

Looking down at Jean's unconscious form, the playful defiance that had fueled his earlier tactics felt hollow. The crowd, their cheers deafening, seemed a world away.

He wasn't sure what possessed him, but his feet began to move on their own. A distorted echo of his earlier song, laced with a bitter irony, escaped his lips.

"Come on, Jean, sync your heartbeat with this beat. Hit the roooad Jack! Don't you come back no mo~"

The playful footwork that had once disarmed Jean now felt like a grotesque mockery.

A wave of groans rippled through the crowd, replacing the earlier cheers.

"Hahaha!" Yunus laughing

Eve muttered a quiet, "That's… fun."
