"So how's your day as an adventurer?" Lily asked, leaning onto her staff.
"Good... you know, people just think I'm human," Dakrea replied with a hint of amusement in his voice.
Lily chuckled softly. "Well, you certainly look the part," she observed, her eyes twinkling with a playful glint. "And as long as you don't reveal your true nature, I suppose you can blend in quite well."
Dakrea nodded, his expression thoughtful. "That's the plan," he said. "I want to live a quiet life, away from the conflicts and bloodshed of the past."
"Well, killing monsters isn't so bad, you know," Lily smiled.
"...Don't look at me like that," Dakrea said, a hint of self-deprecation in his voice. "I am a monster, after all."
Lily chuckled softly after hearing Dakrea's self-deprecating remark. "I know," she said, her voice gentle, "but since you're trying to become human, killing monsters isn't necessarily a bad thing... Also, what level are you now?"
