"You're just a human. What makes you think you can stand before me?"
Alex clenched his fist. He didn't hesitate.
With one final push, he leaped. Faster than light, faster than thought. A blur of motion cutting through the void.
His fist, crackling with power, shot straight for the god's face.
Alex gritted his teeth, his fingers digging into the rough, cosmic flesh of the Outer God's forehead. The sheer force of being here, this close to an entity beyond time itself, was crushing. His lungs felt like they were burning, his muscles screamed, but he refused to let go.
"Kiara, now yours!" he roared.
From his head, Kiara emerged—half of her body phasing out, her spectral form glowing as she reached toward the Outer God's core.
"Got you," she muttered, her voice like a whisper and a command all at once.
