Chapter XL: Harmony and Discord Before the Solemnity  

I can't leave things like this. However, I'm so tired and upset that I can't get involved in their discussion today. I promise I'll try to see what I can do about the relationship between the two of them tomorrow. Honestly, I don't know how I can restore things to how they were before, but I'll try.

"Antonio, are you okay?" Cesare asked.

"S-Sure, what do you think about this matter? Do I need to take action or..."

"If you don't, I will. If you leave things as they are, they will escalate and endanger the safety of the Church and yourself."

"I think you're right, do you have any ideas?"

Cesare's idea was extremely interesting. An objective discussion during an ecclesiastical trial. That's what I'm best at. It seems that ideas come naturally to Cesare. I think I should learn a thing or two from him, right?
