Chapter LXVI: The Journey to Rome Continues

I am glad that little by little we are fulfilling the plan that Divinity had for me. To be honest, sometimes I wonder why I was given such a mission, why I traveled back in time to the 15th century, and what exactly happened in my real world. Although Ignatius told me everything is fine and that Benjamin is beside my bed, I am still troubled by various thoughts.

However, I am not alone. Cesare sat looking at the landscapes we encountered around us. Whenever he sensed things becoming difficult for me, whether for my physical or mental health, he would embrace me, encouraging me. Lately, though, I've noticed he has become quieter than before, which somewhat scares me.

"Cesare, are you okay? If something is wrong, tell me. Maybe I can help you with something..." I addressed Cesare in such a moment.

"It's nothing, really. I just want to be alone for a bit..."
