Chapter 22

The orientation ended 30 minutes later. This time, I stopped myself from yawning as I didn't want to get attacked by those crazy fan girls. I was about to exit the room when I saw Sylvester approaching Whitney. I quickly hid behind the door.

"Miss Owen?"

"Yes?"

"You forgot this."

He handed Whitney a paper she left behind. This wasn't something I wrote in my novel, so I didn't know much about the contents of the paper. But I knew he was scheming something. Instead of Whitney forgetting the paper, he probably created it out with his dark magic.

"Ah, yes, thank you."

Whitney took the paper with a smile. That seems to be the end of their conversation.

I went to a nearby vending machine and pulled out two Coke. I waited around the corner and waited for Whitney.

Crash!

I intentionally collided with Whitney to get close to her.

"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!"
