Chapter 108

Christian wanted to be swallowed by the ground right now as all he can hear was his heart heavily beating and crows cawing as if to embarrass him further.

Finally, I stood up and scanned the group—some of them were my classmates, others from different classes, all equally tired from the last few days.

"Everyone, listen up!" I declared, making sure my voice carried across the camp. All conversations stopped, and their eyes turned toward me.

"Since this is the last day of our exam," I continued, "you're free to leave to earn more points or rest here until the time is up. Either way, it's up to you."

I could see a few heads nodding in understanding, some students clearly torn between pushing their limits for more points or taking a well-deserved break.

Christian, still recovering from his earlier outburst, looked relieved, probably glad for a momentary distraction from the mess he'd created.
