Chapter 44: Wicked Father, Virtuous Son

After three hours, Sam had finished analyzing the entire academy.

"It's done," Sam said to Lucy as the magic circle shrank to the size of a compact disc, moving towards him and landing on his palm.

The same magic circle appeared in his pupils as he absorbed everything his magic had picked up about the academy.

Every existing spell or remnant of past magic in the academy walls, the intricate pathways of energy flow, and various other fascinating details about the academy became an open book to him.

"Did you find out what's wrong with the academy's magic?" Agor asked.

"I found a few anomalies, but none of them should be interfering with the magic. The most notable observation is that, for some reason, mana is moving away from this area, almost as if something scared it off," Sam replied.

"What caused this? Could it have been your attack that destroyed this place?" Agor inquired.
