I WANT WHAT SHE IS WEARING

"Are you done, Lia?" Zeva asked from outside.

"Yes!" came an answer from inside.

'Finally!' Zeva sighed in her mind.

The door opened and Lia stepped out, and looking at her Zeva's eyes lit up with satisfaction as she nodded her head. It was a sky blue coloured dress, with dark blue flowers printed on it. And Lia looked specially pretty wearing it.

Zeva had a big smile on her face, as she was already having an idea on how to accessorise the dress, and doll up Lia.

"Oh my! The dress looks so good on the little girl." Another woman who was passing by complimented, when she looked at Lia. Zeva turned to look at the woman and smiled at her. She seems to be shopping for her son.

Lia smiled at the woman and said, "Thank you, aunty."

The woman gleefully smiled and walked away after blessing her.

Zeva nodded in contentment. At least Lia was well behaved enough in the public.

"Is it good?" Lia asked Zeva looking up at her.

"Yes! You are looking very pretty. We will take this. Now, try this one also." Saying so, she passed another dress to her.

Hearing her, Lia looked at Zeva with a little worried face and said, "Are you sure you want buy all these dresses? Won't it be costing a lot?" They had already finalised a few dresses and clothes for her already.

Zeva blinked when she realised that the little being was worrying about her budget. She laughed and ruffled her hairs, and said, "You don't have to worry about it, dear. Your assigned human is not broke, that she can't afford a few of these dresses.

And I can always make money. It is no big deal for me." Zeva waved her hand and assured her.

On her assurance, Lia nodded, and was about to go back into the trial room again to check on the fitting, when they heard someone loudly yell, like a broken speaker.

"I want that one!"

Zeva and Lia turned around to see who made the noise. And when they saw, confusion mared on Lia's face, while Zeva's face turned black. This kid was making trouble with her now?!

She saw the bratty little girl run to Lia and pointing at the dress, she said loudly, "I want the dress she is wearing!"

Hearing her demand that, the sales girl came up to her with a smile, and said, "Oh, you want this dress? We have more the same design in the stock, let me get one for you."

But the kid stomped her feet and shook her head stubbornly and said, "No! No! NO! I want this exact one!"

"Yes, we have exact one like this. Everything would be same, and newer. Let me get that for you." The sales girl tried her best to console.

But the girl was not ready to change her mind, and was firmly stubborn, making it hard for the salesgirl.

And hearing that, the expression on Zeva's face turned even more uglier, if it could.

Zeva turned to look at the child's mother in hope that at least she would stop her kid from causing trouble. But the expression the woman's face irked Zeva even more.

She stood there with a smile, as if her child was doing something very cute and heart warming, and was not causing trouble. It was as if she did not care at all!

"Hey you! Open the dress and give it to me. You look ugly!" She just casually threw a bomb on Lia's good looks ego!

And hearing that, with a single speak of doubt, Lia's face turned red like a ripened tomato in anger, with steam coming off from her ears and nose! How dare she! How dare she! HOW DARE SHE CALL ME UGLY!!!

Lia was on the verge of using her powers. If there were not people around, she could have held her collar, and flew up only to throw her down from a height of eight feets! How dare she call me esteemed looking self ugly?!

Zeva herself was in disbelief. And as if would not look good of her fighting with a small kid, she turned to her mother, and said, "Ma'am, I had an important question to ask you? Were you unsuccessful in teaching your child basic manners, or are you blind for not seeing that your child is creating a ruckus here? Can't you see what is your child saying to my little sister?"

Little Sister? Lia whipped her head to look at Zeva, and stared at her. For a moment, she forgot the annoying little human in front of her. Why does that being called feel so endearing to hear!

Hearing her, the kid's mother frowned and said, "How dare you? You are old enough to banter over a little kid's doings. My daughter is just a kid. Who will act naughty if not these little kids?!"

Zeva was almost baffled hearing her logic. She said, "Madam, there is a fine difference between being naughtily cute and being rudely ill mannered. And your child is not behaving cute here in any ways. I do not want to banter any more, please ask your child to not tease my little sister. We are taking the dress that she is wearing. There is another set of the same one fortunately, you can ask the sales girl to bring that out."
