The man was in shock listening to Karl was in utter shock. He was brought out of his daze when he suddenly heard a crack sound and he instinctively looked down from where the sound came, and his eyes widened to see what he saw. The thick iron chain that his hands were shackled with, were now in red pieces. And one small, tiny piece fell on his skin, making him flinch and he moved his hand at once.

But the next second, he was overcome with dread. This.. this iron chain, wasn't he caressing it a moment ago? What did just happen? H- How come he just heated and broke this thick chain with his bare hands?! And the next second, that man started shuddering. The somewhat arrogance that he was feigning earlier was far nowhere to be seen, and he looked horrified as he stared at Karl.
