I fell asleep and woke up only when my phone rang. I rubbed my eyes before answering the call, not bothering to check the number.

"Hello?"

"Hey, it's Zairon. Let's meet in Brew Haven. I bet that's not too far from your apartment, right?" I furrowed my brow.

Why do I feel like his voice suddenly changed? He sounded serious all of a sudden. Maybe he's just tired from his operation.

I hailed a tricycle and got in, telling the driver to take me to the cafe. After paying the tricycle driver, I stepped onto the sidewalk. I entered the cafe, the scent of freshly ground coffee growing stronger with each step. The interior was tastefully decorated, with wooden accents and colorful artwork on the walls. The gentle hum of conversation and soft background music added to the inviting atmosphere.
