Chapter 55

I scratched my head because the alarm clock kept ringing. I groped for it to stop it, but my forehead furrowed because the sound was different. My alarm clock isn't like this; it's much more gentle compared to this one that seems like it's going to destroy my brain.

"La? Who changed my alarm clock?" I yawned and stretched my arms while closing my eyes, but when I opened them, I saw a different color of curtains. My vision blurred because I wasn't wearing my eyeglasses. Wait, my contact lenses!

I quickly ran to the nearby mirror and checked my eyes. What– why am I not wearing them? Oh no, did they get stuck?!

I'm nearsighted, and I can still see things up close. I can walk without my glasses, but I'm just used to wearing them. In my panic, I knocked over a small box, and when I saw it, I felt relieved. My contact lenses had come off, but who took them out of my eyes? As far as I know, I was too drunk last night.
