Chapter 72

As we walked down the hallway, we greeted the doctors we passed by.

"Hey, that one's handsome. He looks so innocent," Jazz said, pointing to a young-looking doctor with a baby face. He was talking to another doctor.

"I bet he's gay," Dalcy replied, eyeing him.

"Why do you think so? He doesn't look like it," Jazz defended.

"Look at how he's smiling at that male doctor... like he's daydreaming! Very suspicious," Dalcy explained confidently.

I just shook my head as I followed them. After exploring, we decided to eat at the cafeteria. "There's so much food here! It's like a buffet, unlike when my mom was hospitalized. There was nothing like this," Dalcy said as she piled her plate high. We laughed at her antics, drawing the attention of the other diners.

Before we could sit down, my phone rang. I pulled it out of my pocket and checked the caller before answering.

"Hello, Zairon?" I greeted.
