Chapter 5

Summer Mu was slightly stunned.

Although she stayed with him for a while that day, the night lights were dim, and she looked at him like a thin veil of darkness. Now it's different. He stood under the bright lights of the supermarket, with short hair and neat suits. Inside was a black shirt without a tie.

His hands were tucked into his suit pants, his chin slightly lifted, and his eyes, like those of that night, coldly and deeply scrutinized her.

And Summer Mu's second impression of him was the same as the first time: this man was covered in the word 'proud' all over his body. The strokes might be light, but they were written deep into the bones.

"Miss Mu. "he spoke slowly.

Summer Mu showed a puzzled expression and said, "Are you?"

His face changed slightly.

she didn't know why, but Summer Mu felt a bit refreshed. Suddenly realizing, she smiled and said, "Oh, it's you. I remember now. Are all my injuries healed?"

He just snorted softly.

Summer Mu smiled sincerely and looked into his eyes, saying, "Congratulations."

He glanced at her, then looked around and said, "Find a place to sit down and chat."

"I can't leave. "Summer Mu said." Is there anything else you want to say to me?"

He remained silent for a few seconds before suddenly laughing, 'Salesperson?'

"Well, I told you I wasn't lying."Summer Mu looked at him with her hands behind her back." Don't forget to add the prefix - a beautiful and clever salesperson."

He glanced at her, but didn't laugh at her sense of humor and thick skin. Instead, he lowered his head and looked down at the cookies she had made at the counter. It's like judging her craftsmanship.

Summer Mu generously took out a few pieces and handed them to him, saying, "Taste them, count them as mine."

He picked up a piece and put it in his mouth. Summer Mu couldn't help but notice his hand because it was so different from the male colleagues around her. His fingers were long, fair, with thin joints and little flesh.

"How does it taste? "She asked.

He didn't answer directly, but answered lightly, "It's all covered."

Summer Mu was taken aback, he was really a rich and young person. He contracted her a basket of cookies for 5.5 dollars! She smiled and said, "That's not possible. How could you pack it all by yourself? At most, I'll give you half a pound."

She deftly weighed his bag and he stood outside the counter, quietly watching her movements.

Summer Mu handed him the cookies.

Neither of them spoke for a moment, and Summer Mu didn't know what to say to him. An idea suddenly came to his mind - he wouldn't write her a check, would he? Thank her for her kindness, right?

It's embarrassing, but also a bit nervous and excited

As a result, he really reached into his pocket. Summer Mu caught a glimpse of his movements from the corner of her eye, and her face slowly turned hot.

And then he pulled out... a card? It was handed over to her.

Summer Mu was slightly stunned, it was a business card.

Thin and hard pale gold paper, without fragrance or any patterns. Above, two lines of characters are printed in black and simple typeface: F Trading Co., Ltd.

General Manager, Beck.

She had never heard of the name of the company. And the name Beck, with thin and long characters, had a subtle and powerful effect, but it made people feel that it should be his name.

The light above still shone brightly and pure white, and the aroma of pastries surrounded the air with warmth. Summer Mu gently wiped his apron with both hands to remove the grease before taking his business card.

"Come to my company and work as an administrative assistant. "he said.

Summer Mu was stunned.

She never expected that he would give her a job.

"You... "couldn't speak for a moment, and a warm wave of emotion surged in my heart.

As if anticipating her reaction, he smiled faintly and said, "Think about it slowly."

"No... "Summer Mu interrupted him, with a sweet and warm smile on her face that couldn't be suppressed, but her head shook." Thank you, Beck, for looking up to me. But no need, I still want to stay. Thank you."

Beck remained silent.

Summer Mu was originally happy on her own, wondering if she should give him some more cookies, but suddenly realized that his state seemed a bit off.

He looked at her again with his cold and calm gaze, and his whole aura seemed to gradually cool down.

"Do you prefer to stay in the supermarket and work as a salesperson? "He asked.

Summer Mu smiled and thought to herself that I was about to be transferred to the management department, but she replied seriously, "Hmm, I love being a salesperson the most."

He's not talking again. But Summer Mu could also feel that the atmosphere seemed to have become a bit stiff. She thought to herself that this person's temper was really tough. Wasn't he here to express gratitude? It's nothing if she politely declined him, what kind of face is he.

But she had always been a large-capacity and was about to say something to ease the atmosphere when she saw him take out sunglasses from his pocket and put them on, apparently ready to leave.

Summer Mu couldn't help but take a few more glances.

He was wearing sunglasses, only revealing his nose bridge and chin, without a smile on his face. Despite being such a clear and stern person, there was immediately a hint of coldness.

However, what Summer Mu didn't expect was that he said a few more words.

"Within three months, I will bring down this store. Until then, you can come and join me. This is my way of repaying the favor I owe you."
