Add the rising tension between him and Takeshi, a corrupt officer's vendetta and a dangerous power struggle within the mafia ranks and you have a recipe for disaster. 

In a race against time, Haruki and Takeshi must get to the bottom of a conspiracy fueled by greed, power, and a possible drug overload. With each dangerous encounter, they inch closer to the truth while risking everything they hold dear in a world where loyalty is a luxury and survival demands sacrifice.

Imprinted by the Enemy: An Alpha’s Descent

This is my take on the omegaverse and the yakuza. It might be different or similar to what you're used to but this is what I have decided to write and I hope you enjoy it.

In this world, everyone is fated to one mate for life.

This doesn't mean everyone ends up with their mates, some people are more lucky than others and some are not.

There have been instances where people married others who weren't their mates as well. These relationships are usually put to the test when the real mate finds them if they do.

The population consists of 70% Beta who are regular humans with little or no scent or scent perception. They are usually mated to one another and some are lucky to mate with Alphas.

The next 20% are the top dogs. The Alphas are humans with more strength, more smarts and more looks than Beta. These are usually members of high-ranking and rich families as the nobility of the time of old was usually Alpha.

They're the business tycoons, movie stars, government officials and military officials amongst other high positions.

The government also favours Alpha families. Many Beta families want to have an Alpha child as they believe the child brings good blessings and can turn their family situations around.

The last 10% are the Omega. These are people with less strength than even beta, soft, beautiful features and cover a majority of the female population. This is not to say there aren't male omegas, simply that they're even rarer in the 10% available.

Omega males and females can conceive and birth children for Alphas and on rare occasions Beta. The children born of Omegas are usually Alphas, hence why they (omega) are sought after.

There are a lot of people who kidnap omega to run illegal Alpha rearing rings alongside the gang violence from the yakuza running rampant. These has become a big problem the government is trying to curb.

I will switch between first names and last names for the characters, depending on who is calling them and their relationship with said person.
