Chapter 94: Burner Versus Freezer 3

    Woah, what the hell is happening? I just woke up and saw Thomas's body is full of fire that I can't see him but it's dark. Is he in grave danger? Why is no one going to help him? Is that part of his ability? I mean, people around just stared at him full of amazement. And I am also surprised, the medicine Luna gave me worked.

    Thomas just looked around his body, full of blazing flames like he is on fire, his body looked like a human charcoal.

"Even how far I am from you, I could still feel the heat from you like the sun. That means, that fire of yours is very very hot that I can't go near you"

    Jose stood up

"If I can't go near you, then that means there is nothing I can do. But I am not giving up that easily"

*Crackle Crackle*

    There is an ice sounds

    The ice sounds are coming from Jose. Ice came out of his skin, all of his body. His whole body is getting covered with steel white smoky ice. He is getting armored with his ice. It stopped growing, he is covered with clump and pointy ice. He is smoking out cold with ice.

    If we came from the same place then that means both of our abilities have the same skills.

"So, ready for another round Thomas!!!"

    Jose swung his right fists at Thomas. Thomas raised his left arm, caughting the incoming attack on time. The ice on Jose's arm melted into water, the fire on Thomas's arm died and cried out as the water drop to Thomas's arm. Fire floomed out again to the spot, and Jose's arm regenerated his ice back.

    Thomas pushed Jose's arm away and charged at him with his shoulder, making him walk back away from him. Thomas clapped both of his hands and separated both of his palms making a straight web of fire. He pointed it at Jose, a sudden wall of fire came out of his palms.

    It is a moving Fire Wall, going towards Jose. It burned the grass it passes through.

*Swiiick*

    Something passes throught the center of the Fire Wall, it is a thin, sharp, moon shaped ice going towards Thomas, moving like a boomerang. Thomas dodged it, he lifted up of his hands, gesturing someone to stand up. 2 firewalls started rising up to the left and to the right.

    It went longer and longer until it reached and bypassed Jose. Jose is between the 2 firewalls, looking at it and seeing what it can do. Thomas clapped with his hands, the Fire Walls instantly closed, crushing Jose in the middle.

    Jose spread his arms, holding and fending off the Fire Walls preventing to get crushed. The ice in his hands melted into water, Jose focused. The water turned into ice again instantly before even getting evaporated or flown down.

"If you got stronger and obtained new skills, then so am I. Not only did we get stronger and new skills, but also our time manipulating duration increased!"

    Thomas kept his hands tight, crushing Jose between the Fire Walls. The Fire Walls bended in the middle where Jose is while the sides met, making Jose not visible on Thomas's sight.

    Jose is suddenly in the air, he jumped as high as he could bypassing the Fire Walls height. He made ice sharp swords around him and flung it all at Thomas. The ice swords travelled fast and went nearer to Thomas, the swords didn't melt, the ice swords continued traveling.

"Fire Flag"

    Thomas opened his right hand revealing his palm. A rectangular fire thing emerged out of the middle of the palm. He swayed his right arm to the left, the rectangular thing spread and got more bigger and longer, enough to cover himself. It swayed like a flag around as Thomas moved his hand around.

    The ice swords travelled to the Fire Flag's surface. It absorbed all of the attacks, the ice swords didn't even melt. Thomas unstuck all of the swords and fell to the ground. All of the swords turned into water.

"Not only our skills become stronger, but we become more durable"

    The rectangular thing deposited back inside Thomas's hand. He formed a solid fire spear from his hand and threw it at Jose who is still on the air. The spear travelled fast, faster than Jose did with his swords. Jose put both of his hands in front of him with his hand open. He separated it by swaying his hand to the right.

    A wall came out of nowhere in front while he was doing it. The Fire Spear hit the ice, making a picking sound. I went in the ice, for a small centimeter, the floomed out and Fire Spear disappeared.

"Time..... Freeze"

*Crackle*

*Swoosh*

    Jose disappeared, Thomas looked around. There are a lot of ice spears pointed at him in the air, travelling at him.

"Time.... Burn"

*Floom*

    Everything and everyone went in slow motion. Thomas looked around for Jose, he was there behind him. Crouched down on the ground, with his hands on the ground, there is an ice floor forming.

"I am not sure how he did that throwing that much spear all around me, and I am not sure what he is doing right now" Thomas thought to himself

    Thomas threw spears at him, he also threw spears to the ground where the ice floor is. Thomas crouched down with his hand on the ground. My ability has reached its limit. Let my fire on the time... distinguish.

    ... Huh? Everything and everyone is still in slow motion, 7 SECONDS HAVE ALREADY PASSED! I stood up, is there something wrong?

9.... 10.... 11.... 12

    What!? It passed through ten!? Suddenly, everyone moved hastily, the time continued. The ice in the ground moved faster towards me, the time continued! I crouched down and put both of my hands to the ground. I floomed out fire on the ground like him doing it.

    My fire on the ground and the ice on the ground met. All of the spears went towards him, it dug in the ice around him but it didn't make it to his body. Our elements on the ground met. Jose's ice melted, the water flowed to Thomas's fire, it boiled instantly, bubbles coming, hot steam rising.

    Both of them continued, the ice melted because of the hot water but continued fighting making the water cold then freeze. Thomas's fire died because of the water but continued fighting by overheating and evaporating the water.

    Both of them not only have and fight one opponent, but two opponents, each other and the water in the middle of their elements. The water in the middle, getting frozen, evaporated, turning cold, turning hot. It is like a human, preventing two humans stopped from fighting each other and he/she is the one who is getting hurt.

    The two fighters gave their all, a circle, a sudden circle formed around Jose and Thomas. It is not visible enough but you can see it with their elements, the circle formed into a dome. A sky bluish dome around Jose, fiery orange around Thomas.

    They stopped what they were doing, the hot and cold sides of the water started killing the fire and melting the ice around it. Jose and Thomas stood up, and raised heads, looking at each other eye-to-eye.

"My ability has reached its peak!!!!!" Both of them shouted at the same time

    They ran towards each other, they ran to the middle where the puddles of water were. Thomas stepped on the warm puddle, the fire on his feet got distinguished, making hissing sounds. Jose stepped on the cold puddle, the ice on his feet melted.

    They arrived at each other face to face. They raised their right arm, they swung it at each other, attacking each other on the face. Their fists went closer. The fire on Thomas's arm melted the ice on Jose's face, making a hole for him to hit. The water that came from the melted ice, helped him melt more ice around, some were frozen.

    The ice melted on Jose's arm because of the heat around Thomas. It turned into water, going around Jose's fist. The waster cooled his fist, making him go deeper and going towards Thomas's face. Both of them gave each other heavy blows, their faces swayed to their right. They raised their left arms and hit each other again.

Both of them clashed

*Smack Smack Floom Crackle*

Both of them rumble

*Smack Floom Snack Crackle*

Both of them dodged

*Swoosh Woosh*

The people around cheered

"You can do it!"

"Nice one!"

"Nice two!"

"Fuck you!"

    Jose made a slicing motion with his right arm vertically. A sudden slice formed in front of him,  it is a sharp ice slash following his arm. Thomas jumped, spin, he is upside down mid-air. He raised his left arm, he cluthed his thumb finger, ring finger and pinky finger while his pointing finger and middle finger raised and separated them, making a peace sign.

    A line of fire made on the tip of his fingers. He pinched it in the middle with his fingers off his right hand and pulled it, bending it backwards. The fire pit bends like a rope, it looks like a slingshot. He released the line, a line of fire formed like an arrow, going towards Jose in a swift.

"Ice Burst!"

    Jose raised both of his palms at Thomas and the Fire Arrow. All of the ice on his arms went to his hands, covering it with big ice. It suddenly exploded, a big clump of ice was formed in front of him in the air, it shaped like an unopened tulip. The Fiery Arrow was stuck inside the ice, not moving, and it was gone.

    Thomas was inside the tulip shaped ice, not moving. We could see his real whole body again just like before, the fire is gone. Suddenly, we could see fire around him again. He started to move again.

    His body turned into a colored charcoal again, his eyes fiery and fierce, fire blazing all around his body. He melted the ice around him, going down, down to the ground.

"Fire Burst"

    He raised both of his hands, fire on both of his hands became bigger.

*FLOOM*

     At the blink of an eye, a big Fire Burst came out of Thomas's palm, melting the tulip-shaped ice around him instantly. Water flew and splattered around in the air. It started raining droplets of water. Water rained around Thomas and Jose, Thomas's fire died and hissed but floomed out again, Jose's ice started because of the warm water, but unfreezed again.

"Time Burn!"

"Time Freeze!"

    ..... They waited.... Nothing happened, but the rain of droplets of water is gone. They just stared at each other, why is everything and everyone not in slow motion!? The people around are still moving and cheering at the normal speed!? Why is everything and everyone not freezed!? The people around are still cheering and moving instead of not moving and freezed!?

"Time Freeze!?"

"Time Burn!?

    A leaf from a tree that is floating to the ground in front of them suddenly disappears. Both of their eyes were wide open, they looked at the ground. The grasses on the ground are gray burnt. But there is a familiar leaf, that isn't burnt. They looked at it in horror, and looked at each other again.

    It was Thomas's Time Burn, but.... How!? It was activated but why didn't he move during his Time Burn. And why wasn't Jose not moving consciously during his Time Freeze.

    Thomas made a rope with his fire and threw it at Jose. It wrapped around his arm, the rope cried because of the ice. Thomas pulled Jose in front of him and kicked him on the chest, making Jose walk back. Thomas pulled him again, he jumped and kicked him again on the head.

    Thomas was unfazed, walked back backwards. Jose followed, he jumped and raised his fist to deliver a blow. Jose gained consciousness and caught Thomas's fist on time, he raised his icy smoky cold fist and punched Thomas on the stomach. I threw Thomas up in the air and kicked Thomas on the stomach, making him fly away.

"Time Freeze!"

"Time Burn!"

... Nothing happened, Thomas was suddenly on the ground, standing up. Both of them realized why their manipulating ability won't work.

"You fuck!" Both of them cursed at each other

    Both of them ran up to each other, jumped and hit each other on the fist. They continued their clash, they don't know any skills they have on their sleeves. They may be the user of that ability, but neither of them know all of the things it can do.

    The ground trembled as fire clashed with ice, sending bursts of steam spiraling into the sky. The crowd shielded their eyes as the battlefield turned into a storm of elemental fury. The crowd cheered for them.

"GO THOMAS! GO GO! THOMAS THOMAS!"

    A group of girls from Thomas's team stood up and cheered for Thomas, they acted like cheerleaders.

"J!"

*Clap.. Clap Clap.. Clap*

"O!"

*Clap.. Clap Clap.. Clap*

"S!"

*Clap.. Clap Clap.. Clap*

"E!"

*Clap.. Clap Clap.. Clap*

"J!-O!-S!-E!"

"JOSE! JOSE! YOU CAN DO IT JOSE!"

    A group of girls emerged from the Allen's University Private School team stood up and started cheering for Jose. The other copied their chants, and so the team of Thomas. Thomas and Jose started to give their all, going around the battlefield fighting like cats jumping around.

"Fire Wall!"

    Like before, a wall of fire emerged from the ground. Thomas clapped his hands, hoping to crush Jose in between. But Jose jumped and escaped in time before he got crushed by the Fire Walls.

"Ice Blast!"

    A big huge burst of ice came out of Jose's hands, but Thomas dodged away from his duration just in time. They continued their clash, repeating their moves, repeating their skill. All the crowds see is blue of the fighters. A blur of fire and a blur of white ice.

"Time Freeze!"

"Time Burn!"

    Somehow, the time was burned. Jose's face is full of irritation, both of them knew, how to counter each of their time manipulating by controlling time at the same time. It would be a disaster to let someone control the time by himself, mostly because of the increased duration of their time control.

    They started panting heavily, we can't see a sweat on them because of their ability covering them, and we know that, they are very tired. Jose swung his fist at Thomas, he didn't do any damage. Just only a weak throw punch. Thomas laughed.

"Is there something wrong?"

    Thomas swung his fist at Jose's head. It didn't do anything, he also landed a weak throw. They no longer can do it, transferring all of their abilities to their fists and legs consumes their stamina, that's why they can bypass each other's elements that surround them.

    Both of their legs are weakened, their legs are bent. They looked like they were crouching, but their legs were straight a bit. Their eyes are weary, they are sleepy. Suddenly, their bodies weakened. Both of them staggered and collapsed to the ground.

    Their abilities around their body started to fade away. The fire on Thomas's body is gone, revealing his real body again, same also for Jose. The crowd went quiet, the cheerleading stopped, looking at the fighters closely. The referee came running to check on them. He saw them with their eyes closed, but breathing heavily.

Both of them.... Went to sleep.

"3!" The referee shouted, expecting to see one of them might some up and stood up

None of them budged

"2!" The crowd also joined the countdown

"1!"

    They are not moving, even how loud the referee shouted.

"0! It is aaaaaaaAAAAAAAA! TIIEEEEEEE! NO POINTS FOR EACH TEAM!"

    The crowd still went wild, talking about their fight. The healers came to their aid and healed their wounds, then pulled them to their team.

    Miguel looked at Lovely near him. Hearts coming out of her body, red hearts, reddish than Mateo's pinkish hearts. They are very similar about making hearts pop out of their body. Lovely's face is full of creepiness like a psycho, looking at Mateo sitting in front of him.
