My ability controlled the shards on its own and shoot it to the man. He teleported in front of me with his dagger up in the air. Shit! Suddenly, my body moved on its own to the right. No, it was the shards that is stuck on me helped move.

The man attacks the dagger downwards, nearly hitting my shoulder. He raised his dagger again and sliced from right to left. The shard on my face pushed my head backwards.

He swung downwards aiming at my legs. I suddenly started going up, floating in the air. It was the shards on my back that helped me float up.

"Somehow, you got a bit smart with your ability there" the man complimented

"No, he gave permission to his ability. Most of the moves he does is controlled by his ability" his ability explained

"Hey! It's been a long time since we met eh!" My ability shouted to the man's ability

"Don't you dare talk to me!"

My shards lined up like a sword and flew to the man. The man disappeared. I looked around me, he is nowhere to be seen. Where did he go!?"

"He's behind us!"

I looked behind, there he is, above me on the air falling down, ready to attack. I turned my body to face up and ordered my obsidian shards to shoot up to him. The men noticed m, he covered his face with both of his arms. The shards stabbed all over his body, some missed.

"You little shit!"

As he fall down, he caught my left arm to hang on and cut my forearm off.

"Gkaaa!"

He safely landed to the ground after throwing my arm away.

My right forearm came off. It hurts! This pain! Lots of blood started pouring out of my arm.

"Mike, quickly! Recall some shards and block it off!"

I recalled some of my shards, some of the shards went down to carry my two arms and went back to where they came from on the right position. I used some of my shards to turn into flesh and skin, stitching the arms back together.

We watched Mike in silence as he fought with the man. His obsidian shards shone like diamonds as they moved around below the sun.

"He is actually doing it! He landed damages to him!" I cheered

I looked at Vera, she is gritting her teeth angrily.

"Hey Vera, I don't know how and why you hate Mike that much but please. Look at him, all what he is doing right now is for us!"

He remained quiet, watching Mike closely. I looked around the room, Maya is still resting on the bed. She looked at me.

"Alice, is he doing good?" She asked

I flashed her a thumbs up sign.

"Yes, he is doing good"

She smiled, she rested her again and take a nap. Something suddenly flashed my eyes. I looked around where it came from, it was from a corner from the room. Looking at that corner reminds me of the cowering Mike when we first met him alone with his funny cute scaredy face.

I stood up and approach it. It is a thing, it looked like a necklace, a long golden necklace. I picked it up, the chains dangled, making rattle sounds, it felt smooth. This looked like those kind of necklace where you can put pictures in it.

I opened the heart shaped gemstone, there are pictures in it. A picture of a family, a two childs and two adults. The child looked like Mike and the other child is an unknown girl. Is this his photo with his mother, father and sibling? That's cute. I looked back at the girls on the window.

"Go Mike!"

"You can do it!"

"Watch out!"

A smile grew up in m face. We have a loyal knight saving us from a dragon.

The point of his dagger beamed out a line of blood like a lazer. It hit multiplied of my shards. It went past through them like a strong water jet. I threw my shards at him, he teleported in front of me. He grabbed me by the neck and smashed me to the ground.

He raised his feet to stomp my head. I ordered shard on top of me. The man stomped, but was stopped by the sturdy shard. This is a good time, I made a line of shards and sliced the left leg off. He started to fall down.

The cutted leg on my shards fall, I punched it before it landed on me. As he fall down, he raised his dagger and swung it to my face.

*Crack*

The shard shattered, my eyes widened as the dagger came closer to my face. On time, something pulled and carried me up in the air. The dagger dig the ground, that was close! I looked up, it was my shard that was phased through my leg carrying me up in the air.

I looked down again and point my finger to the man's face. 1 shard came in front of my pointing finger. The shard started spinning fastly like a circular saw. I launched it, the man tilted his head, the shard missed his neck.

The shard went through the ground making a hole. He raised his body with both of his arms, he kicked and hooked me on the stomach with the back of his leg. I panted out air. His leg pulled and threw me to the ground.

He drank blood from his dagger, he grew his leg back in a whiplash. His dagger suddenly got bigger like a knife.

"You've been annoying to me those few moments. So I moved my dagger to level 2"

He raised his dagger. The blade started to glowing orange. Shit, what is he going to do!? That new

We heard a stabbing noise. We both looked up to his raised hand, it was shot by an arrow. It is beeping and blinking green light.

"Huh? I thought my defense would infinitely go up when I was getting attack by two or multiple enemies?"

"Hmmm, it seems that is a problem. It only activate if I saw it so that I am actually thinking we are getting ambush. I soon fix that for my next user in after a lot of years again"

"Mike, get away! The arrow will explode!" Hannah from the hospital shouted

I ordered my shards to pull me from behind. I was dragged backwards, getting farther from him. I watched as he try to take off the arrow.

"Sorry, my bad"

I looked around the city, no more flying humans blasting. No more explosions, dark smoke of fire from the buildings filled the sky.

"Woah!"

A sudden explosion to the left, we looked. It was a large explosion, shaking the buildings around it. Two buildings fell to the ground.

"Uhhh, you think someone is fighting there? We got to help them"

I don't know, you wanna go?"

"It's kinda risky tho"

"We will use my raptor to ride on"

"Hey! Mateo and Elyzer, get back here, they going to see you!

We jumped and looked behind, it was our healer, Jane. She has an angry expression.

"Uhhh, yeah. We will soon come in" I said as I kept the cigarette hidden

"Come inside now!"

Elyzer and I dropped the cigarette to the ground and went in. I took one las looked behind where the explosion came from. Elyzer and I exchanged glances.

The big smoke and dust started to fade away, I could the figure of the man from the dust. I could hear him coughing, swaying his hand on his nose.

I am laying down on the ground, leaning on a wall of a building. Breathing heavily, regaining my strength. Rubbles, debris and dirt's rained down from above. Holy shit, that explosion was huge, I have never seen anything like it!

Suddenly, I saw an orange light from the dust, shaped like the blade of a dagger.

Something emerge out of the smoke. A curve shaped blade like thing coming towards my head.

"Get down!"

One of the shard on my face pushed my head down. A thin slice of my skin was cut off the tip of my chin. It stung, I used a shard to heal it up. He emerged out of the dust, he is picking his teeth with a small steel wire. His clothes were badly damaged and tattered, but his jeans still remains usuable.

"That was such a strong explosion right there. Good thing my ability has a good built-in advantage"

I stood up out of the rubbles, my legs hurt after the rubbles hitting my body. I lined up my shards again. His blade started glowing again. I shaped my shards like a long line of an arrow and launched it at him.

"Kid, you are lack of using your ability, be creative"

He raised his dagger and did a slashing gesture downwards. An orange slice shot out and sliced my shards into half. It made a stuttering slice sound as it travels.

I looked down, my left arm is on the ground.

My right arm came off and dropped to the ground.

"This is your end kid.

Before my shards carry my shards, the man teleported in front of me and grabbed me by the neck and threw me to the ground.

My eyes widened in surprise, it was a guy, masculine guy, about the young and same age as me. His right fist ready and raised. His right fist blazing green , he swung it to the man.

It made a loud sudden sound, skipping my heartbeat in surprise. It made a shockwave making the rubbles, hair and my clothes sway backwards. Green particles came out like a shotgun and scattered around. But the man was unharmed, stuck in place, didn't even made a sound.

"This is unexpected" the man muttered

The man raised his arm to hit him. He ducked down on time, his arm burst out a green blaze aura again. He punch upwards, hitting the man on the armpit.

It made shockwave again, particles flew around, the man still didn't budge, he was shocked to see the man like that. The man took off the point of his dagger and raised it to drink, only a drop came out. A small amount of his missing body part only grew back. He got frustrated.

"What the fuck! That's all what it can store!?" He complained

"Get away away from him!" Sarah shouted to the creature

Hannah and the others raised their weapons and abilities to the two. Mateo and his friend noticed, their arms blazed with green aura.

"Don't you dare do this to us!" The musculine guy shouted

"I bet you two are one of those people who destroys the city and kills people" Vera said

"With this handsome face? No" Mateo replied, jokingly

"Hands up!"

"Put your weapons down!"

They got heated. Nu uh, I am not joining in. My vision started to get blurry.

"Mike, don't you dare give up on me now! Use your shards to sticks that up" my ability said

"Are you sure this..... Raptor is not going to eat us?" Hannah asked

"The raptor would've have tried to eat all of you a few minutes ago. Including mostly when his organs came out"

The girls exchanged glances, they started thinking.

"You two better be telling the truth"

"Trust us okay, we are really, really telling the truth"

"Fine then" Sarah was convinced

Mateo and Elyzer carried me to the raptors and made me sat on his back.

"Hold on tight brotha"

Elyzer helped Sarah get back up with me, then Liana.

"When you arrive, tell them to give you food, said by Mateo and Elyzer. There is no way they will disagree to someone who helped them get food" Mateo said

"If they don't, give my raptor a message" Elyzer added

"And lastly, don't forget to heal up. Find a girl named Jane. She is going to heal you up better than ever"

The raptor screeched and started running, it ran fast, faster than a vehicle. We held on tight.

"Mike, is this yous?" Sarah shrugged my arm

I turned around, she is handing me something. It was the necklace my mother and father gave me.i took it, how did it got on her hand? Oh well, as long as it is safe with me.
