The Monster Monarch System

The Shadow Magus took in a deep breath.

"Hold on, calm down!" He exclaimed but Cole refused to listen as his figure vanished yet again, the Magus was barely able to keep up with his movements – they were too fast, 'Like I said… what the hell are they feeding these kids?'

He began a sprint toward a cluster of trees, their shade also served as shadows and if Cole would come here, he would successfully be able to constrict the Apprentice. But the problem was that Cole was perfectly able to keep up with his speed, Cole was right behind him…

It had been a while since he had to run like this but it wasn't for naught, Cole's fingers found their way to the trigger just as they entered the cluster of trees. Almost instantly, tendrils of shadows wrapped around Cole like a constriction – they wrapped around his body, slithering all over him like snakes.
