The Monster Monarch System

The explosion cleared shortly after and Rem collapsed the walls, letting them vanish into thin air then he walked over to the corpse – the ground had been further deformed after the explosion, shattered beyond belief and looking as though it would crumble at any minute.

He finally arrived at whatever remained of the corpse and he let out a little sigh.

"You're incredibly resilient," Rem commented watching the head of the demon gnash and grumble, attempting to regenerate her body but the opposing souls within her head wouldn't let that happen – the regeneration failed.

"You wanted to survive," Rem spoke with an emotionless tone, bringing out his Shortsword, "And look at you now, at the tip of my blade…"
