clearly he's not blaming her for his engagement not working out hoping that to be true princess wished to turned things around, she truly misses him but only as friends, maybe she was so rude but Nate didn't deserves how she treated him especially when his girl call it off, she'd mentioned it several times not getting his response on it she hardly can decipher how he's feeling felt right now, not talking to her means he's angry.
She unlocked her phone reading through the text lines, tons of it not a single text from him she dropped her phone on the counter aggressively flipping her hair in frustration.
"Goddamn it" at least she tried confrontation twice and if she continues it might turned out to be harassment, the last thing she needs is Nate filing a restraining order. (TRO) at least that's what the police officer will say, and then what comes next restraining order.
A voice speaks into her head to chill, maybe Nate isn't as angry as she's thinking probably needs sometime to clear things up, she sigh in relived, just princess messing with princess it sucks to have several voices in your head making you feel better at some points and then totally make you feel the worst about yourself the next second.
Princess get distracted by the voice behind her this time it wasn't in her head but around her at the counter a 5ft tall strong western accent fair skinned.
She has them hybrid lash extensions on and long thick blue acrylic nails without no makeup obviously, her curly hair down with a blue band matching with her nails.
"Deep fried turkey and Ghana jollof rice i need a big bowl of salad please enough peas last time I only ate two peas....
She dug her hand in her handbag taking out a shiny red united bank of Africa debit card.
"The food is crazy ass expensive yet you people will not add enough peas" she said quietly but look upset about it by the look on her face shows them peas are important to her, her facial expression changes when another staff walked into the counter.
"Oh my God Emily" she squealed well Emily expression didn't match the same energy the girl gave, so she curled back into her shell and rolled her eyes.
"So You still work here I thought you wanted to get married....for the record I can't be married and still work in Corey" Emily bragged the last part of her sentenced.
"Yes I still work here Emily and my marriage Didn't work out turned out he's going to Australia on a scholarship....
"Spare me the details so people like you don't travel down to Australia I guess" the staff girl shrugged.
"You don't get it do you? is not about Australia we want different things that's what happened"
"You missed the part I told you to spare me the details, life is not about what you want but what you need, I hate to tell you this as a Yoruba girl I'm always curious for change and when the opportunity comes knocking i grabbed it, life is short" she swiped the ATM on the POS machine it prints her receipts.
