Mary left the breakfast up to Solomon's chamber, this was the first time she was going up there. No one tried to touch or hurt her anymore she's now one of them.
"What's up Mary" one of them greeted as he cleaned his gun.
"I'm good" she answered, in signs greeted the rest, a few were smoking, eating, crashing against the wall of the late-night workers as he moved to Solomon's chamber.
She softly knocked she felt the hesitation until she spoke up.
"Is me Mary?" she said nervously Solomon opened up thankfully it wasn't Shay or one of his father's men, he's surprised to see Mary. He stepped aside for her to get in he was still eating his breakfast.
His chamber looked very cosy with a large smart television, his bedroom was on the other side all in one floor with no privacy at all. Mary had never seen anything like this he rather stay up here than stay in any of the luxurious rooms.
"You okay," Mary asked, Solomon nodded, and Mary made her way to the other side of the couch.
"Your dad is not well, I'm worried about the two of you," Mary said, she noticed the scowl on his face as she mentioned that somewhat feeling guilty and responsible.
"I didn't mean for that to happen I just want to have my way and...and...never mind doesn't matter" he said, There was an awkward silence she looked around the room, she had no idea what she was looking for but hoping to find something.
"I have soda, soft and water if you mind" he asked, showing his palm still holding his plate of breakfast, mary smiled.
"I will have what you are having" She pointed at the scotch on the table labelled Jameson.
"Wouldn't Shay kill you for that?" he asked putting his plate down as he teased her, striding over to the fridge area and taking a short glass mary gaze followed.
"She's spending time with your dad I think is going to take long, and I wanted us to talk as well you know, you took everyone by surprise this morning, we need you here" she said, solomon furrowed his eyebrow filling the glass halfway.
"You mean you want me here" he stretched the glass to her, mary was taken aback by his sudden response but it was the truth, she wanted him here that besides the point his father needed him the most.
"That doesn't matter," she said after taking a sip curling her lips as the drink burned, she slapped her chest softly to calm herself.
"First time huh" he gestured as he was still having more liquid in his glass.
"Actually yes, vodka most of the time, I used to wait on tables in a local bar so I have some too" Solomon nodded.
"You have no idea what it is to have him as a father the only person that dealt with him was my mom, and ever since mom passed he becomes overprotective" he explained.
