Naelo stared at Ail'wi for a couple of seconds before finally shaking his head.
"Is that it?"
Naelo's attitude made Ail'wi unsure of herself. She was even beginning to doubt he had heard her question clearly. Maybe that's why he had taken time before responding to her.
"Uhm… Yes?"
"Why did you make it sound like you were about to ask about some forbidden secret?"
"Because it is. Or it's supposed to be, I think. Very little is known about Sirens. Everything about them is surrounded by a cloak of mystery."
Naelo had turned his attention back to the grilled fish in front of him. He didn't treat the matter with the same amount of importance Ail'wi gave it.
"That's because you've never been to the east. It's true that they are a mysterious group, but it's not to the extent of being a taboo to talk about."
