Swish, swish –
The sound of writing can be heard constantly in the cramped and rundown office.
Andy is preparing to take away anything with writing in this room, not just the documents on the desk and the books on the shelves.
After all, you could never know if a certain secret might be written in a random notebook.
Andy has no idea what to do at the moment, so he just leaned back in the chair and watched the dozens of quills scribbling away.
Magic, to free your hands!
"What a pity..." Andy sighed softly.
He had spent quite some time finding this office. At the moment, there are only about 40 minutes left before the two-hour time reversal.
He wasn't sure if he could finish copying all the information.
As for the archive room, Andy hadn't even seen a trace of it.
Andy suspected that the Department of Mysteries' archive room must have been hidden by magic. To get in, there must be a special method.
Actually, it was only logical!
The archive... stores advanced knowledge of magic in twelve restricted fields, including time, death, prophecy, the brain, the stars, and love. How could it not have some kind of protection?
'How do I find it?'
Andy rested his head in his hands and frowned deep in thought.
Unspeakables should know.
But they are called 'Unspeakable' because they could not speak of the secrets under any circumstances.
For such important research data... Andy believes that the Unspeakable must surely be restricted somehow by magic, a restriction that prevents them from revealing the Department of Mysteries' secrets.
As for stalking the Unspeakable...
Heh, what's the difference between that and stalking a sweeping monk in the Sign-in novel?
The Unspeakable are just magic researchers, and their strength may not be too great. But the person in charge of the Department of Mysteries definitely would not be some weakling.
Not only that, because the Department of Mysteries keeps many of the wizarding world's greatest secrets, in Andy's opinion, some powerful wizards who are interested in researching and studying magic might also choose to work here.
This is a very real possibility!
Andy has never underestimated the Department of Mysteries' staff.
The last time he explored the Department of Mysteries, Andy deliberately chose a time when they were off duty. This time, it was also because today was a special day.
On both occasions, Andy did not meet any of the Unspeakable.
Andy even suspected that there were actually people here in the Department of Mysteries; they just didn't show up.
They probably didn't care about something like this.
The time passed slowly as Andy pondered this.
There were a lot of books here, and Andy had only made a rough copy of two-thirds of them.
'Well... maybe I should come back again?'
Andy looked at the remaining documents. He didn't want to leave without copying them all.
He put his notebook and quill in his pocket, got up from his seat, and left the small office.
As soon as he reached the door, Andy's face suddenly changed.
The office door... had disappeared!
'A mobile room?'
'Or has it been hidden?'
Andy felt the wall behind him, then took out his wand to check but found nothing.
'Are there some specific conditions to open the office?'
'Or did someone help me open the office door?'
Andy looked around, but there was no one there.
"Is there anyone here?" Andy shouted.
"..."
No one answered!
After a moment of silence, Andy shrugged his shoulders and turned to leave the Department of Mysteries.
He had to leave; Time Turner's time was about to run out.
As soon as Andy had left, in the corner of the room, an elderly figure glanced in the direction Andy had left, then silently turned and disappeared.
Andy had not noticed the elderly gentleman the whole time.
***
Ministry of Magic, 8th level, the Atrium.
At the moment, the battle was over.
Andy used the Disillusionment Charm to hide his figure and entered a toilet cubicle.
A moment later, another Andy walked in and used the Time Turner, disappearing instantly.
After tidying his clothes and hair, Andy walked out of the toilet with a normal expression.
"Hi, Harry," Andy said.
"Andy!" Harry nodded.
At that moment, Dumbledore walked over and looked at the two of them and said, "You two should go back to school."
Hearing this, just as Harry was about to say something, Dumbledore continued, "As your Headmaster, I should deduct 100 points from each of you for leaving the school without permission."
"100 points each!"
"And two months detention!"
Harry instantly turned sour.
Andy hurriedly added, "Professor, Gryffindor already has no more points to deduct; this is unfair!"
Harry: "…"
Harry looked at Andy with a face full of resentment. What do you mean?
"Professor, we will accept it!" Harry quickly shouted.
Even if Gryffindor didn't lose the hundred points, they would still be in last place.
But Ravenclaw was different.
If they lost the hundred points, Ravenclaw would lose this year's House Cup, and Hufflepuff would win.
"Harry, I just saved Black!" Andy reminded him.
Harry: "..."
Taking a deep breath, Harry gathered his courage and said, "Professor, we left school to save a person's life. And we saved Sirius and fought off Voldemort."
"Of course!"
Dumbledore laughed, "In recognition of your bravery and fearlessness, you two will each receive an extra 100 points."
"Well, you should go back to school now."
"Then goodbye, Professor." With that, Andy shot Dumbledore a glance.
Dumbledore looked at Andy and winked playfully.
One minus one equals zero.
Obviously, Dumbledore's action was not meant to punish or reward; it must have had another meaning.
Andy didn't care, and after saying goodbye, he left the Ministry of Magic with Harry.
Watching the two of them walk away, Dumbledore quietly muttered, "What a vigilant boy."
The deduction of points... in fact, apart from affecting the ownership of the House Cup, it is meaningless. The House Cup is awarded once a year, and it only represents an honour without any substantial rewards.
People who don't care won't even give it a second glance.
Only those with a sense of collective honour will care about the ownership of the House Cup.
If you care about the House Cup, you will care about the House Points.
Hogwarts actually set up the House Cup system to increase the sense of collective honour among young wizards and unite them.
Dumbledore had just said that on purpose to see Andy's reaction.
He saw it!
But he didn't know if that was Andy's disguise or if he really meant it.
After watching for a while, Dumbledore glanced over to the side.
His gaze seemed to pierce the walls and cross the mountains and oceans, as if he could see Nurmengard and the person who lived there.
The improved Fiendfyre Curse used by Andy reminded him of that person.
Gellert Grindelwald!
The Fiendfyre Curse that can identify enemies and allies... that was his forte.
