" Take the horses to the fields and cattle to the castle. The seed will be divided among the farmers who signed up for it. We will deal with the livestock later."
Uther commanded his men to distribute the supplies to their designated areas as he smiled broadly when he saw Magnus.
His large body hugged Magnus while Freyja chuckled from the aside with puzzled Bedivere.
" You have done well, brother. With this, we can do much better."
Magnus hugged him back, gesturing his men to bring the rum that he had taken from Grace.
Thud*
The large barrel was placed next to Uther whilst Magnus took out his cups from his chest. Then without thinking much, he opened the lid in front of his men, filling the two cups with the rum.
" Let's drink it here since we made it."
The Vikings cheered at his words, taking out their rum barrels from the carriage. Don't get them wrong because they traded it fairly with the rum makers and they even confiscated it for their troubles.
" Don't mind me if I do. Knights, you may."
The knights immediately took off their armor as they sat on the ground without caring much. The heavily armed soldiers also joined in the fray while the civilians peeked out from their homes to check what was happening.
" Today we will celebrate with our allies. Tomorrow we will conquer the entire South."
Magnus shouted loudly, making people cheer with excitement because he was their general. Hence, many civilians came out from their homes with bread and snacks to join in the biggest festival of the territory.
Many enjoyed the atmosphere without delving into their pain and suffering, trusting that tomorrow would be better in the end after witnessing how competent their lord and his people were.
" Hey, you there don't shit here! Also, you don't puke!"
Lancelot came out from the castle with Guinevere and others to check what was happening.
To his surprise, entire streets were filled with people who were taking out their furniture and food to have fun with knights and Vikings.
The entire city smelled like alcohol for many took out rums, beers, and wines from their cellar while some offered good stuff that they made.
" How did they even manage to create a scene like this? I thought you were having a financial crisis."
Lancelot couldn't comprehend how this was happening and who was the culprit but nonetheless, he was dragged away by Guinevere.
She placed her arms between frozen Lancelot and stoic Arthur, dragging both of them toward the knights who were singing and dancing.
" Oh, it is the young lord and miss. Please sing miss!"
The bards played their instruments as Guinevere sang a song for the people while Arthur was mesmerized by the situation since they were preparing for a war a few minutes ago and now they were singing and dancing.
" What is there to think of?"
Halfdan appeared from their behind with Harold and Arne. In their hands, there were cups filled with wine and finely roasted mushrooms and fish skewers.
" Bite it down, Arthur. Our parents made great accomplishments and we had to have fun. Life isn't grey or black and white after all. You have to have fun to understand your people."
Harold threw two skewers toward them, whistling to Guinevere while they joined to dance with the people.
" He is right. You have to dance more, Arthur. Noble ladies will make fun of you in the ballroom."
Morgana hugged Halfdan's arms as she smiled brightly under their gazes. She then pulled Halfdan to the dancing stage where many people invited him to dance.
" Ugh, whatever. Let's go."
Lancelot ruffled his hair, winking at the young lady who was giggling toward him. As for Arthur, he was taken away by Guinevere who was pointing at him to sing with her. His mind blanked for a few seconds before the words went out of his mouth with a gentle rhythm.
Surprisingly his voice was so serene and beautiful that even bards admired it. It was like he was born with the talent of singing.
" You sing well, Arthur. Here drink this and sing again."
A little smile formed on his face as he grabbed one of the instruments.
