Chapter 58: The Red World

In a mysterious land, the sand was a deep, foreboding red, like the very earth itself was bleeding. The sky above was a crimson canvas, as if the heavens had been set ablaze. The air was heavy with an otherworldly energy, and Roman's senses reeled as he struggled to comprehend this alien landscape. On the red sand, a small pond glimmered like a pool of blood, its surface eerily still.

Next to the pond, a small figure lay motionless, naked and dirty. The figure stirred, and Roman's heart raced as he realized it was him. He tried to stand, but a piercing headache threatened to split his skull open. He stumbled, his vision blurring, but finally managed to rise to his feet.
