Why I Became A Villian

Alex had lived his whole life believing he was better, that he was better than everyone else just by being a member of the Briggs family.

At least, that was what he was made to believe.

Against this beast, he felt fear and even ran. However, watching people from Saint Lucas fight without fear and die while giving it their all, Alex was broken.

The initial fear he developed from his near-death experience vanished and was replaced with disappointment.

He was disappointed in himself for letting fear get to him.

Furthermore, he felt ashamed to see people of lesser noble birth do things he could not do!

He was pained to see someone stand tall in death, smiling victoriously.
