The Exchange

Aether-Hawks hovered around Texas borders as everyone waited patiently for the trade to happen. Wilder Briggs stood in front of the gates of Texas, his cold gaze darting around, while about thirty Deviants stood beside him, bound and liked by chains.

There was a week left before the GGSO main event began, so Lucius needed to be returned, or the American team would have to participate without their ace. As for the world's thoughts on the trade, Wilder was about to talk Mr. White out of it with the help of Quinn Ainsworth.

According to them, America had already suffered a heavy blow to its reputation after Lucius's kidnap, and stories of their decline would worsen if they failed to make an impact on the GGSO main event in Africa. If Lucius is returned the world will say they succumbed to terrorist demands and if he doesn't return they will say the United States lacks what is needed to protect their students.

Regardless of the outcome, people will talk!
