"Remind me why we are on a journey west?" Lucius asked, looking outside the tinted windows of the off-road jeep
Five vehicles speeding through the lonely desert, traveling west to find something he knows nothing of.
Why would he stay silent?
"Everything my Lord… This journey will equip you with everything you need for your journey." Imhotep said, his voice laced with mischievous amusement.
Lucius frowned at this response but his gaze never left the beautiful scenery. The horizon is painted with hues of gold, amber, and crimson, gradually deepening into purples and indigos as the sun dips lower.
"I can't believe this is my first time seeing something this beautiful. If I became a God three years ago, doesn't that mean I would have missed such an opportunity?" Lucius changed the topic, not bothering to press Imhotep on the matter.
