Why I Became A Villian

Lucius frowned, his vision blurring for a short while. His body swayed from side to side while his palm tightly grabbed his chest.

The pain was back, the crushing pain that came with those memories. Whatever was hurting him was somewhere close but out of sight.

He couldn't find the source because there was no beating heart, energy signature, or scent he could follow. It felt like he was going against a non-living thing.
