Invading Nemuro

Nemuro Naval Base, Hokkaido – 03:27 AM

The icy wind howled across the dark sea as the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force battleships patrolled the Nemuro Strait.

Its powerful radar swept across the horizon, scanning for any movement. The night was eerily silent, except for the hum of engines and the occasional chatter of crew members.

On the bridge, Captain Takeshi Hayashi stood with his hands behind his back, his sharp eyes locked on the radar screen. His instincts had been nagging at him all night.

The recent tensions between Japan and the Daitan-backed states had already put them on high alert, but now...

Something was wrong.

"Sir," the radar officer suddenly called out, voice tense. "We have multiple unidentified signatures heading toward the Nemuro Strait from the north."

Captain Hayashi's heart clenched.

"Confirm their trajectory."

A moment passed before the officer nodded grimly.
