Why I Became A Villian

Lucius' eyes widened for a moment before they steeled with resolve. He gently stroked his robes, knocking off some dirt before shifting his attention to Silver.

"Don't let yourself get consumed by confidence built off lucky wins… That will get you killed around here."

Lucius' threat came in the form of friendly advice.

"Then kill me, Lucius, I dare you!"

Thrusters underneath Silver's feet unleashed a burst of aether, sending him shooting in Lucius's direction. In barely a second the gap between the two was closed as Silver slashed down vertically.

Lucius sidestepped, evading the attack by a breath. From his angle, he had a good view of Silver's back and casually stretched out to touch him.

Flames exploded from Silver's calves, propelling him away from Lucius while his upper hand did a 360° spin, slashing open Lucius's palm!
