Tension was high, but under Lucius' cold gaze, the slaves orderly rushed into the gate—the look in his eyes made them feel less human than the soldiers at the mine.

"Now they know where we are and they are coming to kill us. Is this what you wanted?" Lyxor glared at Lucius and he shrugged indifferently.

"A little adventure won't kill anyone." He rolled his eyes.

"It is killing you," Lyxor said, referring to the hole in his chest, which Lucius instinctively covered.

Lucius' lips parted to speak, but then he felt it—the presence of the approaching figure was like that of the sun: boundless and intense!

The last few slaves were making it through the gates and all they needed was a second.

"LYXOR! I HAVE COME TO COLLECT WHAT IS MINE!" Emperor Link's furious voice boomed like thunder.

Lucius rolled his eyes and casually stretched out his hand
